TBD of Fall, AV 512
Crossing the bridge over the Bluevein, on his way to the Tuvya for sparring, Elem stopped to look out at the beauty of the city. His eyes traveled over the tiers as he began to feel at home. Although he had not acheived Kuvan status, he knew that each day of relentless training of body, mind and spirit brought that eventuality to fruition. The thunderous roar of the waterfall was becoming as normal to him as the crushing winds of the Bonesnapper back in Zeltiva. Closing his eyes, he only listened for a moment, the cool winds of Fall at his back as he stopped for a moment to take it all in.
Opening his eyes again, he looked out toward the mighty temple of Wysar, father of the Akalaks. As normal as it would seem to the natives, the presence of Gods and Goddesses within the city walls was never a thing lost on Elem. He knew that one day, when he achieved Kuvan status and felt as if he had achieved a state of blance within himself, that he would ascend the rocky peaks and approach the God as a man of his own making. Of course, the climb would be arduous, without any tests that could present themselves after. Elem looked away from the temple for now, his eyes traveling down the natural fall of the water.
That's when they focused on blue forms against the rock face below. Akalaks, attached to ropes, were scaling the cliff walls behind the waterfall, though they were easily several hundred feet above the water. Looking back up at Wysar's abode and then below to the activities he had witnessed, Elem accepted it as a sign from the God to begin his search in earnest. The Zeltivan felt that few things in Mizahar happened for no reason. The Gods were always watching. Nodding, he chose to forego his trip to the Tuvya that day and make his way to the men and their point of origin.
He arrived soon after descending down the curved steps along the tiers, finding a shop aptly called Riverfall Rock Climbing. Looking up and beyond the shop, he could still see the Akalaks working their way across they rocks, an even more impressive sight from his current angle. Entering, he found various implements and coils of rope greeting him from shelves. A new world with its own tools, Elem waited patiently for assistance, browsing and fondling the strange hammers and spikes.
