Vantha, Potential Husband (Flashback and Current)

Inia's parents are looking to marry her off. Though she's a bit reluctant about the big commitment, she's not averse to a spot of romance. She understands the cultural expectations of her people, however, and so that leads to two ways to develop this bit of plot. I'm looking for either a charming-to-her-parents suitor, which would likely progress to marriage, even if Inia is reluctant, simply because she wants to find 'love', or a suitor that her parents are wary of, but who she'd marry without reservation. So, in short, the basic 'reluctant girl needing to marry' plot, with two possible twists. In addition, starting one of these plots without seeing it through is certainly welcome. Fleeting romances change people just as greatly as lengthy ones. Anyone interested?

Several of us are giggling over this advertisement. Basically, though you may not have intended it, the ad reads...

"Please come be someone that WANTS ME but I get to reject over and over and over again because I'm completely unwilling!"

Yup. Gonna get a lot of responses to this one...

So that's how that reads. Huh, it sounded different in my head. I'll fix that. Wow, that's embarassing. I think I've found my first Personal Rule of Mizahar- If you feel like you're overelaborating, you still aren't elaborating enough.

Ah, sorry, perhaps I ought to have specified. Inia's never left Avanthal. It's rather impossible to have a flashback to that which could never have occured, so though it sounds intriguing, it just could not have occured. Again, my humblest apologies.

Now that could be intriguing. It would certainly let me play up the "rebellious romance", as he isn't a Vantha, and thus wouldn't be a member of a Hold, so such a romance would be seen as "fruitless" or what not. I assume, at least. This could be fun.

Delvin, 'tis winter. Still up for causing a schism between Inia and her parents with a spot of romance? If so, about how far into winter would Delvin be in Avanthal? And, out of curiosity, what other reasons would Delvin have for being in Avanthal? Not to be nosy, or anything. I'm not nosy. Who said I was nosy? :paranoid:

Oh, and Jasha, if you'd like, you could play a foil of sorts. I imagine you'd be much more acceptable to Inia's family, being a Vantha and all, which could lead to an interesting triangle and some tension. Tension is always fun.
