It was when she felt the lean against her back that made Weylin jump at first, followed by the low quiet voice of the Kelvic. She tensed for a moment, not turning round, her heart suddenly racing, thoughts and feelings running through her. Even she herself knew she had turned a fine shade of red, and no doubt this wolf, no person had done the same. She tried to summon out some thoughts about Kelvics, knowing that they could shift between one form and another in an instant, with a more animal nature leading them on most of the time. She made herself breath clearly, to regulate herself and sort out her swarming mind. He asked for help now, and so she felt herself being obliged to.
Weylin removed his grip from his shoulder with gentle hands and turned on her heel to face him. Her eyes for a moment drifted downwards, before snapping up, her skin turning scarlet. She cleared her throat and threw the cloak around his shoulders and neatly doing it up.
"Suppose I was right about being a Big Guy," she could hardly keep a straight face as she slipped the broach pin through the fabric, doing it up neatly. She almost forgot to breath with all the thoughts going round in her head. She wanted to ask so many questions, to receive answers now that their language barrier had vanished, but now was not the time. She tugged the cloak around him so it gave him some more modesty, and hopefully make him relax a little. She ensured his balance by holding lightly onto his forearm before she stooped to inspect his leg. With her free hand her fingers caressed the bruising in an attempt to feel and understand. Judging from how he walked on it, and the way the dark purple spread out across his skin, it most likely was indeed only bruising, sore and tender to the touch. Nothing was broken, but it would indeed ache for the next few days. She withdrew her hands, and stood up to her full height, a calm neutral expression on her face before she gave a small awkward smile.
"You'll live," she managed to say. Her mind had gone blank on what else to say, words had escaped her and all she could possibly do was done at this moment in time. But she knew one thing, she did not want this rather brave an noble creature to simply run off on her, more so without his name.
"So, Big Guy, you have a name?" She extended her hand as if to shake his "Mine's Weylin if you want it. And you still up for the offer in feeding?"
