![]() ![]() Name: Kal'ai, Kal for friends Race: Konti (Female) Age: 32 years old Birthday: Fall 36th, 480 AV Height: 5'02" Weight: 110 Ibs Kal'ai is a very typical Konti young woman (altough, to be honest, human definitions like "old" and "young" doesn't exactly apply to the Kontis), . Her long, white hair are often tied in creative buns or braids, but she indeed likes the feeling of free hair, sometimes. She has bright violet eyes, like her mother Sulla. She is indeed very similar to her mother, like many other of her race, even when we're talking about the disposition of her scales. They follow a wavy pattern on the back of her legs, shining with violet reflexes that shade into light blue and finally in white on her back, which is completely covered by them. The back of her hands are also covered with violet scales. She also has white scales on her forehead, but usually they are covered by her hair. ![]() Personality Kal is a somewhat shy woman, even for Konti standards. But "shy" is probably not the right word, something more exact would be "not at ease with strangers", which is not a word but it does its job. It's somewhat hard to make her open, but when she does she results to be a sweet and loyal friend. In fact, her problem is not exactly "shyness", but instead "fear": fear to make mistakes, fear to hurt and get hurt, and so on. The fact that she's quite clumsy doesn't help with this, either. But being capable of crushing something at least two times in a row gained her at least some positive traits: the first is that she's quite stubborn, and tends to not give up, unless the thing she's trying turns out to be impossible or capable of harming someone. The second is the capacity to give a second chance and forgive, because anyone can make mistakes sometimes, like she does basically al the time. I would like to know what would happen if someone deliberately abused this for Avalis-know what purposes, no one has done that to her yet. My guess is a massive esplosion of shouts, rage and rivers of tears...if it happens and you get a Suvai sticked in your head don't come crying to me: I warned you. Dreams and Aspirations Kal'ai has two main aspirations, that follows her mayor talents. One is becoming a Seer and mastering the exploration of the path of possibilities, the other is becoming a famous writer. She is not sure about her path, her dream would be managing of doing both of the things. She also dreams to go to the mainland, a tradition of her family since her great-great grandmother Kal'ai freed herself from slavery. Her ancestor is quite a legendary figure, and she hopes without no doubt to follow her path, even if her real idol is her granmother, Konna. She also wants to rebuild her house, but she's aware that maybe that is asking too much. Who knows...maybe her "path" will provide her the money to do so? Beliefs Like many Konti, she worships Avalis as main divinity and the other two Gods that protects Mura: Rak'keli and Laviku. Being gifted with an Avalis mark she feels a special connection with the Goddess of Divination, and she has grow up to be quite devoted. ![]() She was not born in Mura, but instead in the city of Syliras, when her mother was searching "her way" on the continent. Travel was (and still is) really dangerous, so her mother Sulla waited two years before embarking the long path towards her homeland. When they finally returned, they were welcomed by Konna, Kal'ai's grandmother. The little girl had a really strong bond with her wise and kind nanny, but sadly the old Konti passed away when she was barely 200 years old, or when Kal'ai was 20, which is the same thing. This, fortunately, made mother and daughter closer to fight the pain, while before there was a gap between them. Kal fondly consider this the last gift of Konna. Her life wasn't all that exciting until the start of the year 512 AV, when the Djed storms battered Mura. She and Sulla survived, but their house was severely damaged. Kal didn't take that well at all: that house was full of happy memories and, well, full of her previous life. It took the entire season for her to overcome the shock, but in the end she managed it. ![]() Clothes
A simple set of white clothes: a shirt and a pair of trousers. She owns also a pair of boots, made of leather (while she prefers to walk barefoot, sometimes some type of footwear is unavoidable), and a violet cloak to protect herself from the bad wheather. Wilderness survival

A Suvai, a traditional gift for a young adult in her family. Sulla gave her this weapon the day of her 30th birthday, like her mother Konna did with her, and so on for who knows how many generations. It's really important to her, despite being barely capable of handling it. Other

Blythe: The Konti Cook Gnosis Mark Like many of the Konti, Kal'ai gained the Mark of Avalis at birth. It's situated on the palm of her right hand. Konti Gift: Choice Intuition Kal'ai has received a gift that she calls "Choice Intuition". When the Seer of Choice is in front of two (or more) option and start concentrating on each possibility, her gift associate every choice with a different sensation, which can be pleasant if the choice has positive effects, or unpleasant if its effects are negative. The more the sensation is stronger, the more the effects of this choice are extreme. However, the feelings of the Seer can alterate the verdict, as there is no way to distinguish a normal sensation from one gained with her gift. In fact, this ability made Kal'ai unusually exitant and nervous in front of most of the choices, especially those that are quite important, the cause being the fear to mistakenly trust a volatile sensation instead of her gift, and actually using the gift cause her stress. That could lead her, if the ability is used too often for her mind to "recover", to a nervous breakdown. The gift nature makes also impossible to understand what exactly are the consequences of the choice, other than a generic "good" or a generic "bad". ![]()
