The westernmost tip of Kalea, Wind Reach is home to an amazing group of people and their giant eagle mounts. [Lore]

There was a shift, only slightly noticeable. It was a deft maneuver of her soul, which stirred fires in her eyes, like sparks brought to life by the breath of a bellows. She embarked on an explanation he had imagined she would, based on the way in which she had responded to the plight that had-strangely enough-led to their meeting. Perhaps fate did play a hand in the weaving of the world, but Ishgrameer was uncertain of this, for such thoughts he deemed to grand, yet plausible. Something had clearly affected her greatly in her youth, something that had driven her, all the way to Kalea, and Wind Reach. He wanted to know a little more, but he knew better than to pry his talons where he was not wanted.
He kept his arms folded across his chest, the muscles like thick ropes in his arms were tensed. He kept a neutral expression on his face as she continued. He was saving judgement for when she finished, and it was then that she'd have his answer. However as she continued a thought did bloom anew in his thoughts. What was he willing to do?
Then he remembered his promise to his mother, and the stinging cold of the winter wind against his cheek. He remembered the promise he had made to himself, upon arriving in Wind Reach. He would do all that he could to protect whomever he bonded to, even if it meant his life. He would see no harm befall them, and treat them as family, as long as he saw goodness in her heart.
As he looked upon Fraha anew, he noticed the tell tale signs of one who seeks some kind of vengeance, for what he knew not. However at the same time there was a sense of justice around her, like a cloak, and it was pure, and unique. She had good intentions, mixed with personal qualms and goals. She was human, and this confirmed it, for no one was perfect. It spread a smile on his face. He found her honorable, and would aid her if she was willing to accept such aid. He would aid her against the world, and all the evils that worked against her, and also he would aid her from herself, if she so needed such aid. The name she mentioned he did not know, but felt as though he had heard once, in passing.
She seemed happy, in a dastardly way, as she finished her speech, and delivered a grin in his direction. There was a look in her eyes, different from those that came before. He felt like she was daring him to walk away, and at the same to time come along. It seemed that she had revealed her hand-as he had heard some people say-and he had done the same earlier-for his motives were very plain, and simple. He rubbed his chin in contemplation, and looked down into her challenging eyes.
Then he crouched, as if standing on the balls of his feet, so that he was at eye level with her, and then he stared straight into her eyes. He assessed all that he could of her motives, her tale, and who she was at the core, but he only saw a fraction of what some were capable of. His eyes held a strangely gentle judgment in there massive area. They seemed to pierce like an arrow. Then he stood and extended a single hand towards her, as he said "Danger lines every road. And death awaits us all, at the end. But reward is all around us, yes. We need but see it, and grab it. All trials have a cost, but i am sure we shall see them through, together. I make this promise to you, that if you allow be to join you, i shall aid and protect you, by whatever means i must. You have my word, my arm, and my bow".
Then as he awaited the handshake that he hoped would seal the deal, he thought of one more thing that they needed to assess, or that he needed to assess. However, it had already stirred in his blood, and he decided perhaps it being better if they work there way into the bond, for he knew it had to be mutual.
"And with this accord, let our bond be struck. And may it never sever, so long as we both draw breaths".
He noticed a door not to far away to should, he assumed, lead to an area not to far from a bar. Perhaps they would have those drinks at last. He continued to look into her eyes, awaiting her response, awaiting to see where the journey would go from here.

As he crouched to look her in the eyes, her expression changed, she couldn’t but widen the eyes and stare back, scared however and always. He didn’t react as she spoke before and now he was indeed thinking something, this made her doubt for a bit whether or not she made the right choice and the doubt would go on until he’d speak again. Looking back at him she couldn’t hold the eye contact for long, after some moments she lowed the eyes quickly and then back up again, hoping in an answer. And it came, with great style and confidence, Ish had decided to join her and as his words slightly echoed thru the tunnel Frahas heart grew relief. After his last sentence an echo of two imaginary voices shouted “and my axe!”, “and my sword!” in her head as to complete the sentence.
She smiled and in answer to his hand she dashed and hugged him. “I can’t believe you agreed almost as much as I can’t believe I trusted you so quickly, there’s something about you, our paths were indeed meant to cross.” This could change a lot of things for the better indeed. She could only imagine the applications of the extraordinary abilities he could use. On top of that, he seemed no fool at all which implied that she wouldn’t have to be on her own anymore.
A brief thought crossed her mind *…and again I cross paths with another bird man, is it my fate perhaps?* But wait. What was this bonding all about? She had to be sure in order to not give false promises. She stepped back an looked at him with the expression of a child asking an embarrassing question. “ humm..I…before we continue, I have to ask, what does this bonding..imply?” She could see possible applications but wasn’t really sure what he meant.

Ishgrameer smiled as she nearly squealed with delight and embraced him in a hug. She seemed so much akin to a child who was happy that they were going on a trip. Then she took a step back, wondering about his last statement. He wondered too how he could explain it, for he himself knew little beyond what his mother had described to him. She had felt it once, long before his birth.
He rubbed his chin, unsure of how to begin, for he did not want to sound to grand or pointed. So he decided to pass if off, try to cover it up for the time being, after all his mother had said it was something that didn't happen over night, or right away. The feeling, the mutual feeling, would arrive when it did.
"It is nothing really to make big deal over, it is something that i have been told forms between one of my kind and their bondmate. It is a friendship of sorts. A linking. You will know when it happens, the sensation, the emotions are unique. But you need not worry about it. Time will deal with that. For now let us deal with now, and the immediate future".
He wondered if they were still going to get drinks, noticing the door not far way. He also wondered what it would be, that they would endeavor together to do first, now that their partnership had been struck. He wondered where they would go and what perils would await them.
"So now what Fraha?"

Fraha listened carefully as he explained, with relief she could immediately compare it to a friendship, however he was vague about it, could it be that he only heard of it? Didn’t matter, as long as he would stay with her there would be no problem. She nodded in response as to agree to something legit. “Ok, no problem.” Her expression was the same as before but more relaxed now. To his question she quickly replied. “Now we celebrate the, old fashioned way” she was aware that girls probably shouldn’t be so explicit about it but, goddamit it was true. “Let’s find a bar mate”
She then walked with him till the door, after opening it Fraha stepped aside and bowing slightly invited Hoot to proceed “Ladies first..” said she with a singing tone. Beyond the door there was a larger hallway with a more populated area but that was all she could notice with a Glance, that and a big wooden sign that really looked like a tavern entrance.
