Winter, 46th

A young women, appearing to be no older than fourteen wearing light blue couriers clothing laid three crisp raps on Mister Gott's front door.

"Excuse me!" The muffled voice called from the other side in a thick Zeltivan accent. "I have a delivery here for Zivilist Gott?"

Once the door finally drew open she could be seen there, stunning for her age, though not nearly as handsome as the carefully rapping pool of deep blue fabric cradled in her palms.

It was an elegant stretch of azure fabric, which seemed to be wrapped around some concealed long yet flat object. It seemed soft, whatever was folded within. And, adorning the top lay tied with a rough contrasting string of hemp a glowing pressed paper note, folded once over, and pitched open just enough to be picturesquely attractive.

"Sir, is your name Zivilist Gott?" The young women seemed to reserve any harsh judgement she may have had. Certainly she had expected a different recipient for this gift.

Zivilist groaned as he sat up in hus bed, his eyes red and baggy, sleep having become a jilted lover these days and dreams becoming reminders of his failures. Many of his shifts had been after days end, his request, so that he could search for those who would attack his brothers, however he had no suspects sans one, who had been long gone.

Stepping out if his bed he let out a long and overdrawn yawn, standing straight one would ask him to go back to bed. His weight mass looked less then what it should be and bruises adorned his torso. The days havent been kind to the Wave Gaurd and it showed. Picking up his clothing from the table and quickly wore them over his frame, he lazily walked to the door and opened it, slightly lowering his head once he realized that a neat wrapped object couldnt possibly knock at the door. It was a young lady dressed in a couriers clothing. Her handsome face must earn her popularity with boys her age, the package in her arms was wrapped quite beautifully as well ' That can't be for me..can it?' The Wave Guard was not accustomed to gifts that were not from his mother, he could tell it was not from her because the his mother personally wrapped her gifts... one need only a little imagination as to why that would be and indication it was not from her

"Um..... yes, sorry, I'm Zivillist Gott. Uh.... how may I help you?"

She flashed a forward and open smile, showing teeth far better kept then many her age. Then with a little bounce of her heel, which no doubt was to be an attempt at a curtsy she held the wrapped cloth higher for Zivilist to witness, inviting him to take.

"Good morning, Sir. This package here is for you." She waited a moment for him to take it then added a bit tentatively, unsure if she should speak. "I can't say I see packages like this often, save between the barons and baronesses. It really is beautiful."

Upon unfolding the paper the careful, though not outstanding calligraphy could be deciphered with little effort.

P.S. I am sure we will have occasion to rub elbows soon.

Then, wrapped within what appeared to be a finely crafted handkerchief of a gorgeous material lay a single bold gloveImage. Finely embroidered with robin thread on white lace met with sturdy deer skin grip the fencing glove represented both Zeltiva, and the ideal fencer. Functional, traditional, elegant, rich, and more than a little ostentatious.

The girl's eye went wide at the sight. "Oh... it's gorgeous! Why do you think there is just one?" The words fell with regret from her lips as she suddenly looked apologetic, but with confidence she did not withdraw her inquiry. She simply let the blush fall on her cheeks, and agave her tentative smile as she awaited his response.

"Ah...uh...thank you young miss" He said as he gently took the package from her hands, he didn't quite understand who would send him one as fine looking as this "I-I can't say I see such gifts myself" He admitted as he admired it for a tick or two, before reading the letter that came with it. His went wide with surprise for a single moment but there was no doubt the name was the head of the Martial association. An audible gulp could be heard as he gently unwrapped the package and...it was a glove, a fencing glove, a high quality one at that! "....could've donw without the firlls though...." He muttered as he examined it.

Then came the question from the young miss, who seemed a bit embarrassed that she had asked "Ah..don't worry, that is a proper question...um, you see this a fencing glove, its meant to be worn over the wearer's dominant hand. Er, have you ever seen a rapier?um, no, not quite important, main thing to know its a one handed sword. The Glove is supposed to give it comfort as it held the sword grip. It...um..also improves that grip" He told her, before walking back in and setting the letter and the cloth used to wrap the package on the table. He wore the Glove on his right and to his surprise it fit like...well... a glove. Then picked up one of the wooden rapiers he had lying around, it felt nice and comforting 'Could still do without the frills'. The door was left open so the girl could see what he was doing. He raised the blade ceremoniously in front of him before taking up a battle position.

the Right leg was forward while the left was firmly in the back and at an angle as to have a firm footing. his knee's were slightly crouched and his left hand was raised, one would think it was to serve a balancing purpose but it served another entirely. He performed a few stabbing motions to an invisible target, thrusting at the chest, parrying an invisible blade and seemed to countre it while simultaneously stabbing the imaginary foe in the chest. Then performed a few more stabbing motions and end it with a few quick cuts aimed at the face before stopping, stood upright and placed the wooden sword on a chair.

He smiled sheepishly at the young miss, then headed to his money pouch and pulled to what amounted as ten gold rimmed mizas "er... here" As he walked to the door he handed her the money " um...thank you for delivering the package" That was definitely a generous tip, daft fool should've just giver her one or two.

The young girl simply glowed at the money was handed to her, and the look of utter appreciation as the overly generous tip caused a slight bounce as she took it and hugged it close to her chest.

Her attempt at remaining somewhat formal passed, as her politeness paid off and she gave a whole hearted, "Thank you very much, Sir. Please, have a great day, and I hope your glove serves you well." Then her blush returned giving her a glow a certain deepness as she admitted with a slightly lowered voice.

"And, I don't really like that frills either. Maybe you should cover them with your sleeves." With a look around as if the gift giver may hear her speaking she gave an overtly innocent look to Zivilist, slipping the Miza's into her pocket and continuing the conversation with candid politeness.
