Miles had declared their arrival and Keira felt very relieved, unsure of how much longer she cared to keep walking with the injury. It didn't feel broken, but she wasn't sure how severe of an injury it was. She inhaled deeply and stepped through the door, wishing she could have appeared cheery despite the pain. She hated to bring unhappiness to any place.
The clinic had a couple of other patients around and she sensed a bit of dreariness and an element in places like these that absolutely made her feel a bit sickened herself. Before they walked in Miles had told her, "Our city is much fairer than this. You must not let this side of her dominate your first impression." This triggered curiosity in Keira. Miles had seemed to down and gloomy when he first walked up to her and Valo; not to mention frankly a bit frightening to a weaker spirit. Why this sudden patriotism to Zeltiva?
Nai'a on the other hand was very alert, a bit excited even to be there in the clinic. It seemed she had found a passion helping others who were ailing or injured, and that was great. What did it matter that she was a kelvic? Anyone with a good-natured soul should be treated with equality as far as she was concerned. It made Keira forget for a moment her situation, even a bit of the past grieving her.
"Greetings. Please state any ailments, be as specific as you can, mind so that I may find someone to assist you as soon as possible." A wise older man greeted the three of them at the door, inquiring with a quick sort of quip to him. Not necessarily chipper, but more of an authoritative soundbite. Keira thought for a second about the most specific way to state her injury and looked the man in the eye confidently. "My arm hurts terribly in... the middle. Not the muscle, not the bone, and it was after a fall directly on top of it," She stated, her voice ringing clear but somehow it seemed soft also, of youth and wisdom, not quite the same as the older man's. She sounded educated but felt somewhat felt like her speech was different from the people of Zeltiva. She hoped she had given enough detail.
