Pyxis Basic Information Race:Ethaefal (Benshira Human in last life) Birthday & Age : Fell to Mizahar on the 24th of Spring, 505 AV (5 years ago) Gender: Male Physical Description During the daylight hours, Pyxis' appearance is that of a fairly unremarkable 30ish year old Benshira male. He stands six feet tall and weighs 170 pounds, has short, light brown hair and light blue eyes that somehow lack the shine or rich coloring that many of his race possess. His skin is tanned, but not remarkable and his muscles are toned from his travels but not in a way that would make him stand out from the average traveler. When the moon reigns over the sky Pyxis' skin lightens dramatically and gains an almost iridescent shimmer that shifts from purest white to an almost opalescent hue. When the moon shines as harvest orange or an angry red fellow travelers have noticed similar but subtle shifts in his skin coloring that mirror that of the moon's, but they're never quite sure if it is Pyxis' skin changing or rather a subtle reflection of the moon's gentle light. During these summer days his hair long and shares the blackness of the night while a pair of jade horns that extend backwards from his temple a little more than a foot. In his Ethaefal form, Pyxis stands six feet three inches tall, weighs 188 pounds and has deceptively smooth and delicate looking arms and legs that hide the strength he has gained during his travels. During all but the coldest nights he will remove his Benshira coat and head covering. Character Concept During the night hours Pyxis is haunted by the fleeting memories of a paradise lost and a the weight of mortality that his soul hasn't felt for many years. He is fiercely loyal to Leth but his new found mortality has given him a respect for Leth's sister Dira, although he does not worship her. He seeks, above all else, a return to the divine, although he keeps this desire from his fellow travelers. During the day his longing for the divine is greatly lessened and he finds himself more open to enjoying his mortal life, but has thus far failed to find any sort of true happiness or connection despite continued efforts to make Mizahar a new home of sorts. Character History *Incomplete* Pyxis fell from the sky into Lake Ravok five years ago and found the mortal life quite difficult. Most of his possessions were acquired when a kind fellow traveler died on a journey to Nyka. His travels have taken him to the northern plains of Teldara where he hopes to find acceptance, either divine or mortal.
