Considered one of the most mysterious cities in Mizahar, Alvadas is called The City of Illusions. It is the home of Ionu and the notorious Inverted. This city sits on one of the main crossroads through The Region of Kalea.

Sinoa

35th day of Winter 512 av

It was a particularly cold day when Sinoa awoke from his tiny bed. The Pycon needed to earn some money but his flute had become useless after an altercation with a ghost some time ago and only now was beginning to sound right. He tried to preform without the flute but wasn't as skilled at dance and because of his small stature few even knew to look down to see his performance. It was tough being small, Sinoa was starting to realize this but still kept with his upbeat attitude and headed out to earn himself some Mizas.

He grabbed his flute that he kept in his miniature cupboard and headed out for the busy street.
If Alvadas was a more typical city Sinoa would have picked out a regular street to play in but in Alvadas it was better to just wander until you found a street of interest. Today Sinoa chose to play at a street where some mages had already chosen as a place to practice their illusions making this street look especially bizarre, even by Alvadas standards. Fish were gently floating in the sky, purple translucent mushrooms were growing from the ground and dancers made of fire were moving elegantly down the street. Any other citizen would have come to the conclusion that this was the worst place to be but Sinoa had the complete opposite opinion. Sinoa felt this was the best possible street to preform on in the history of Pycon kind.

Sinoa found a place near the mage creating the flaming dancers. Although the Dancers didn't really give off heat, just looking at them made Sinoa feel warmer. The mage like all the others on the street were wearing thick cloaks, the cloak of this particular Mage was made of teal dyed fur and had a large hood that hid any defining features that would indicate sex or race. The Mage seemed to be completely absorbed in their illusion and took no notice of the Pycon.

Sinoa put a dish in front of him and stepped back. He lifted his clay flute up to his mouth hole and began playing.

Sinoa

Sinoa's flute was frequently off key at first but after playing for a minute or so the instrument mellowed out and begin cooperating. The Mage seemed irritated by the ruckus Sinoa was producing as it was clearly affecting the structure of their illusion causing the dancers to flicker in and out of existence. Sinoa used the fire dancers as inspiration when crafting the song he was about to play in an attempt to add his neighbour. Sinoa tried his best to make a soft and delicate song, that captured the essence of the dancers elegant and fluid movements. This was very hard to do and Sinoa struggled frequently with making the song flow naturally but the song was still fairly decent for a novice at least. The mage still seemed a bit irked but none the less used the music to focus on their illusion.

A few of the Mages followed suit and made Illusionary dancers as well, the glowing mushrooms swiftly changed to a gentle flurry of opalescent leaves and the fish began to frolic rhythmically in the sky. The lively environment made a few of the locals become curious enough to cautiously approach.

Sinoa

An eccentric young human boy with pale blonde hair walked up to the group of performers. Unlike the other people in the area this man seemed unfazed by the ominous looking mages or their magic. Judging by his eclectic and bizarre wardrobe he was probably no stranger to magic himself. The man observed all the illusions calmly and then looked down at the Sinoa. The odd man looked at the Pycon intently for a moment then at the dish sitting in front of him. After rifling through his patchwork pockets, the mysterious human dropped a bit of change into the dish. Sinoa stopped his playing to give the man a cheerful "thank you" before he went back to playing his song. The man nodded slightly before returning his gaze back to the illusions on display.

Sinoa thought more people would feel comfortable approaching if he danced along with the illusions. He started to subtly move with the music, swaying back and forth like a gentle ocean wave. Without a skeletal structure he was able to easily bend his body in ways most could not. He slowly increased his range of movement as he got more comfortable. When Sinoa felt completely relaxed, he tried his best to mimic the flaming dancers steps but found it hard to follow them. While it was hard enough to pull of the advanced dance steps the dancers were preforming, it was all the more difficult while also playing the flute. The pycons extra limbs didn't help ether, Sinoa would have to find his own unique way of dancing.
