Septimus looked up at Zulrav's tower from her spot near a frozen tree. It wasn't as crowded as usual. Since Fall, Septimus hadn't really taken much interest in the Wind God. Now, it was something like a forgotten memory that plagued your mind just at the right word only to be lost again later. She directed her gaze elsewhere, overlooking the ocean far below. Yes, it was freezing. But how the water wasn't frozen was beyond her. Of course, Septimus didn't know that saltwater didn't freeze.
She soon found herself lost in thought; she had a lot on her mind. Like the fact that it would be a long time before she saw Riverfall again and she hadn't even visited a quarter of the shops and locations. Either way, she had learned and experienced a lot here; met a lot of new faces, too. However, she still had the entire rest of the season to worry about that. For now, she needed to take in what she could, and think later. That's what the trip home would be for.
As Septimus was staring out into space, she failed to noticed a green prominent colored bird fly and perch down beside her. Septimus only took a small glance at it without thinking. She had to do a double take before she realized the only thing that bird could be. She finally realized that this was Calia. The last time she had seen the avian Kelvic was towards the middle of Fall. Much like Zulrav himself, Calia had almost faded from her memory as well. Up until now, she hadn't even thought of her.
"Well look who it is."
The bird flew off after a few seconds of it filling the air with small clicks from its beak. Septimus sighed then continued her train of thought. However, she was once again interrupted with heavy breathing and the sound of running feet. Looking to find the source, it was Calia whom was in human form and fully dressed for the cold. Her hair was blew by the wind a few good times and it now looked slightly messy rather than it's normal straight and well-cut self.
