Built into the cliffs overlooking the Suvan Sea, Riverfall resides on the edge of grasslands of Cyphrus where the Bluevein River plunges off the plain and cascades down to the inland sea below. Home of the Akalak, Riverfall is a self-supporting city populated by devoted warriors. [Riverfall Codex]

oocSorry for the wait!

Septimus nodded with a raised eyebrow and a slight smirk then directed her wandering gaze back to Malkaren. "Just curious. I'm always looking for some sparring partners. I don't have a lot of time to take much more advantage of Riverfall's dojos before we leave out again. What better way to train than in a city full of a men dedicated to it?"

And it was true, for the combat styles were almost constant and she admired the way the Akalak trained. Needless to say, Septimus liked to take these experiences and evolve them into something she could use back in Syliras. Anyway she could obtain beneficial knowledge, she would do it. To an appropriate extent of course. It was a plus side to her and she could also exchange some information with some possible future allies like it had already been shown.

Septimus raised her other eyebrow at the mentioning of a mate then her gaze was returned to normal and she only shook her head slightly, taking the comment about the shape of her body as a compliment. "You guess correctly. I, uh, don't plan on that for a while."

Septimus' gaze was once more wavered towards the room towards the side in which held the weapons then to the other door, in which she wondered for a split second what was behind it. Perhaps this trip for a weapon would not only be to gain a dagger of some sort but a new acquaintance.

An Unexpected Introduction (Malkaren)

Despite not showing it too much, it was obvious the question of her marital status caught her off guard. Perhaps the fact that Malkaren had even bothered to ask was proof that his mind was burdened more than he had thought if he was asking such bizarre things. Luckily she brought up the subject of Riverfall's dojos and he did have something to say on that.

"If you really want to figure out how to use whatever weapon you decide on buying, go to the Kendoka Sasaran on the south side of the city. Master Mizra is a good instructor with any sort of weapon you can think of and there's plenty of others to spar with."

There was a pause in his words as he noticed the woman's eyes had drifted over to the entrance to the weapons quarter. Not wanting to hold her up on what he assumed might be urgent business to her, he wrapped his cloak tightly around his body as he lifted his hood back up. "I should be going. I still have a lot of preparations to make for my travels."

He stepped towards the old battered door to leave, putting a hand on it to push it open before stopping dead in his tracks. His mind had suddenly thought up of something to say out of the blue and he wasn't entirely sure why it had even come to mind. Still it felt right to give this woman something other than a short meeting. Turning towards her on the spot, he looked under the hem of his cloak and spoke.

"If you find yourself in Syliras this coming Spring, look for me there."
