Shalir Ironfist Appearance Race: Isur Gender: Male Age: 32 Birthday: 15 Spring AV 480 Birthplace: Sultros Appearance: Shalir's build is standard for an Isur, standing 5 feet tall with a muscular build. He has short dark brown hair and somber green eyes. Characteristic of Isur, he has silver veins running across his body and a left arm that looks to be made of iron with a slight indigo hue. To an outsider, he is a standard specimen of an Isur. However, an Isur would notice a few traits that are out of line. A chiseled physique in the eyes of other races hides the wiry build relative to other Isur. His hair is short, but longer than another Isur would deem practical for work in the forge. Character Concept Shalir is on the cusp of adulthood. However, his passions do not align with the expectations set upon him by his parents. He is torn between forging his own path and meeting the high expectations of those closest to him. His will is not as solid as his bones, and his unwillingness to commit to a life path weighs heavily on his soul. Character History Shalir was born into clan Coglias in the city of Sultros. His father is a revered Captain of "The Hammer", known as The Ironfist throughout the clans. His mother is of the Terras clan, and is a talented blacksmith. He received great pressure growing up to follow in the footsteps of his parents, becoming either a great warrior or a master smith. His passion for art and architecture was largely ignored by his father, who jested that Shalir aimed to be adopted into the Sultros clan. His passion was tempered by his mother, who tried redirecting his passion for creation into forging weapons and furniture. Shalir dabbled in the art of war and forging, yet in his heart he knew they were not his passion. At the age of 32 he must soon confine himself to the will of his parents, or pursue his own passion at the expense of his family's honour.
