Taloba, home to the Myrians, is the thriving core of Falyndar. Inhabited by a fierce and savage tribe where blood sacrifices are normal and a way of life, they are untamed and proud of it. Warlike, and with their numbers growing, the Myrians are set on reclaiming what is rightfully theirs. [Lore]

Fight.

Alva's irritation was clear to see as she walked, the scowl in her golden eyes irate and fierce. Four paws pounded the earth with every step, she moved with grace even like this.

"Why does she look so angry?" One of her Fangmates, Gaar, asked his companion as she walked, nodding his chin at the tiger in their midst. They had been waiting for her to come to them, anticipating her arrival, and she had not disappointed with her entrance.

"She does not wish to do this," Dava replied, a mutter of breath. Alva had keen ears, but she found their words inaudible still.

Her opponent, or prey, stood away from them, trussed up like a boar and watching them all with lidded eyes. He had a bloodied face, scratched and bruised, but his dark eyes were defiant. Angry.

Thief.

Her tail swished through the air sullenly, she showed fangs to threaten him, make her displeasure more obvious. If she had her way, this wouldn't need to happen. Theivery could be dealt with other ways, it could be crushed with different methods. Lidara had been adamant, though. Alva might not be a real Myrian, but she had proven she could be like them. Lidara would not have her women be lax when their things were stolen. She would not have them take bullying with a blank stare and a curled lip. She would not have it. At all. Her women were to be fierce and impressive. Savage and tame at once. Alva held herself back to impress upon her Fangmates that she could be like them too and have only one form. Lidara understood that being unable to change made her depressed. This would be an opportunity to show Alva she didn't have to turn back and take abuse.

Or else she might as well leave Taloba now.

Even with the explanation, Alva detested this. She felt watched, judged. Her usual display of her animal side was in the form of a striped tattoo and the sharp teeth she wore with a smile. She wanted to tell Lidara 'no', that it didn't matter that somebody had stolen from her. She didn't have much of a choice though. She remembered fondly the beating she had received last time she disobeyed and retaliated against a person in a higher station than her.

"Dava, unbind him." Lidara said as Alva approached, the sleek form of the tigress the signal that it was to begin. "Relin of the Creeping Death, you will be punished now. Alava of the Patient Shadows will deal the punishment for the theft of her talon sword. She may not kill you, or maim you permanently, but you will feel the wrath of a tiger insulted here today. You will learn your place and suffer for your transgression."

Relin's dark eyes mocked Alva as he was released, his hands rubbing his wrists to restore bloodflow and proper function. He wouldn't take the beating quietly, his eyes told her.

"Alva, start."
