"I'm not used to human contact." Ezra stated after thinking over the question, his eyes still closed. He was usually alone, so he really wasn't used to the skin to skin contact. He didn't really know how to act around others, so he always kept quite and to himself.
He sighed and sat up, leaning against the trees rough trunk. It was getting cooler as the sun slowly made its way over the land and toward the horizon. Soon it would be time for the moon to take its place.
Ezra closed his eyes once more letting the nature flood his senses. The birdsong that would soon end as the day does, the crickets filling in their spot. The wind blowing softly against his skin. the sweet smell of green crass and tree sap. It was wonderful.
He looked over at Allora to find her with her eyes closed. Asleep or just enjoying nature as he just was he wasn't sure.
Her alabaster skin glowed in the evening light, the sun casting the leaves shadow over her face. She looked quite peaceful. Much less nervous and questioning.
He turned back to the sloping hills of grass, watching a rabbit make its way back into its burrow.
Must be nice to live out here in the Wildlands he thought dreamily before drifting off into a light sleep.
