Amaryllis' Office Amaryllis’ office, located in a chamber just off the main bathing room, is small but follows the same pattern of grandeur that lingers throughout the whole complex. The ceilings are high, and arched; the walls still boast their original pre-Valterrian paintings. As with the rest of the Palsa Hydrasa, a theme of blue and gold seems to dominate. This room contains the ledgers of all bodies coming and going from the Palsa Hydrasa’s Rubellum Chamber from the time the Palsa was built to the present. Amaryllis is not particularly organized (she leaves this task to her apprentices), and the large round table in her office is often littered with books, bits of parchment, emerald-green inkpots and the peacock-feather quills she favors.
