Time Stamp: 10th of Winter. 507AV Location:The Jungle Wilds Who: Catrii “I have to say Chaktawe that either your the bravest man in the world or the stupidest, but when the Myrian or the Dhani catch you, they might be eating you for supper,” warned the young Svefra male. The Chaktawe smiled and said with a hallow smile, “My life was taken away from me the night she was murdered. I heard the man who murderer her was a Symenestra, and he still breaths in Taloba, so I am going to the city to remedy the problem than I will leave.” The Svefra shook his head and said sternly, “Shanapar tread lightly in the jungle forests everything out there is hungry and will try to eat you even the people who dwell within it.” After his warning, the Svefra smirked at the man and said softly, “We will meet again Shanapar the Untamed. I just hope your head isn't mounted to some savages wall when I see you next.” Shanapar laughed at the morbid joke and responded to him, “I'll make sure to give you a welcoming smile when you see me next, Kalan Swiftwind.” The sunburned young man shook his head and laughed softly, “Yes, you are definitely the stupidest man in Falyndor my friend.” Shanapar watched his friend sail over the horizon and said softly to Kalan when he couldn't see the white sails anymore, “I will definitely see you again, Kalan. I am not meant to die in the jungle. I will be buried in the sand with my ancestors when I am good and old.” He turned and looked at the foreboding rainforest. He could almost feel the spirit of Caiyha watching him as he stared into the vast forest. He adjusted his gear and weapons before walking into the forest. Taking a deep breath, Shanapar walked into the forest his black eyes ever watchful as he made his way through the underbrush. Listening to the sound of insects and birds sing their song, he was surprised at the sheer beauty of the jungle. The desert was mostly avoid of life, and it was so scarce that you could go days without seeing any signs of life. However, in the jungles of Falyndor, life was everywhere from the crawling insect, slithering snake, or giant tree competing for the last inch of sunlight. He looked up at the sky, and he could see the clouds starting to darken. He frowned to himself knowing he will never feel dry again until he left the rainforest for good. It was a marvelous feeling being surrounded by Caiyha grace, but also it was terrifying at the same time. In the jungle, he wasn't the hunter, so he had to be the prey. |
