![]() ![]() ![]() Basic Information Race: Human Inarta Birthday & Age: 492 AV (17 years old) Gender: Female Physical Description As most human beings from the Inarta race, she holds the same red hair that has been licked by flames to decorate her head. She has bright colored eyes that mix with the two colors of blue and green, giving her a sea green look almost. She stands at the height of 5'5", decently tall but not too short either. Her weight is quite light, 114lbs. Her face is perfectly heart shaped while her hair falls to her mid back in length, slightly layered so it can frame around her face. Her skin is fairly tanned, but she still holds a delicate pale look to keep her healthy looking. A straight, decently size nose with nicely almond shape eyes gives her the look to break hearts. Her luscious lips help tip off her beautiful look, which she isn't too thrilled with. Her body is slender, with athletic blood, but her curves are gifted in the right places. Nothing on her is too big, nor too small. This is a look she really doesn't care for. Character Concept Her beautiful looks defy her personality greatly. When her mouth is shut, she is a stunning girl, but the moment her mouth opens sort of severs first thoughts of her. She is normally portrayed as a shy, quiet girl; due to the fact she rarely goes out of her way to spark up conversation with others. In fact she is far from being shy. Quiet is partially right. She is more comfortable with being slightly manly, but still holds her feminine features. For those who have managed to get her to speak she is a stern, mannered (hardly shows it), and quite care-free. Reckless is something she is known widely for, and which she had to pay a price at some point. She is very shelled, barely trusts a soul. She gets irritated quite easily, and will not shy away to show she is. Quite hot-tempered. If any are lucky enough to see her true self (Which they would have to be-friend her like never before and show they can be trusted). She is secretly girlish then she allows herself to be publicly shown. She is shy, blushing quite a bit is what makes her the target for teases. Even then she gets irritated and still a little shelled. Character History A small clan of the Luxcia took Dalena into their own, since she was their child. Not a well known clan, nor one that is said to be non-existent. The family resided in Wind Reach. This small family was made up of a mother, father, and two twin daughters. Dalena just happened to be born second, making her the baby of the family by five minutes from her sister Ahndrinna. They were identical twins, but like most twins they had several features that held distinguish their differences. Her sister didn't have the sea green eyes Dalena managed to capture but full out blue sapphire eyes. Each of the woman within their family was blessed with their bright eyes, making that their distinguishing feature. Personality was thrown around her family: Her father was a strong-headed, but very well mannered. He was hardly the type to show affection to his wife and kids but each of them was knew he loved them dearly, which he did. He was thriving to do the best he could for his family, always wanting the best for them. He worked his job well, and provided great house-hold for them. Her mother was a gentle being. She had piercing green eyes with the same red hair that was held within each of her family. She was strict when needed but rather a easy going female. She didn't work, but stayed home to keep the house a welcoming place. Her sister was a people pleaser. Dalena always made fun of her for it, but their father believed it showed a kind heart. She was kind hearted, always wanting the best for their family if there was a chance of her making life better for them, she would. She was the daughter that did well, a motherly type of girl. She didn't run things full on, but thought about the pros and cons before they did anything. Dalena. Well known for her reckless behavior. She always was the more manly one between the two. She didn't care for pleasing people, what did they do to help her anyways? Nothing. She could careless for most people, but her shell wasn't as hard to pierce then. She was frequently more friendly than she is in the present day. She is strong-headed and loves to rush into things, normally getting an earfull from their mother later. Not that she cared, she'd do it again just to watch people run around like ants. They grew up as a usual, natural way of living. Their father would work, mother would stay home and the daughters normally gathered items for the family. They often did hunting trips, helping their parents with their eagles since they didn't have one of their own just yet, etc. On spare time, the twins would climb the mountain to fetch their eagles, or train with their bow. There were even times where they would practice instruments. Ahndrinna used the harp, enjoying the gentle melody it gave. Dalena used the flute. Again, it was a gentle sound. This was the only time Dalena allowed herself to open up. Like it was stated behind closed doors, she was girlish to people who are close to her, and her family was loved dearly. Dalena, being the reckless one, decided to take their flight farther than before. They flew to unknown lands for the enjoyment of being outside of their protective homelands. Ahndrinna disliked the idea of being so far away from their homeland and pleaded to head home. There was no way she would leave without her sister. Of course Dalena didn't agree to it and continued. She loved watching her sister freak out with fear, only so she could rub it in her face later. Reckless gone bad at the age of 13. Even to this day she has no idea what happened. All she remembers was the different air filling her lungs with a new delicious taste she became addicted to. The wind blew through her hair as her legs curled around the eagle. Her hands gripped feathers that felt like silk beneath her touch. All that went bad the moment she heard a loud shriek, then a scream. When she glanced back, horror that would forever stain her mind was there. The eagle her sister had been riding was pierced with an unknown material while her sister fell from the sky. Her sapphire eyes held fear and shock as they stared up at her twin. Without a second thought Dalena drove her eagle into a dive to retrieve the uninjuried sister. Where she landed made it impossible to dive any farther. A thicket of trees that were so thick to even make a landing. Several yards away was a small opening, and she took it. From there she drew her bow as she walked through the unknown shrub in search of her sister. In a tall tree laid her sister. The most uncomfortable position with her eyes wide with the same fear and shock. Once Dalena managed to retrieve her, she was gone. Filled with pain, and grief she carried her sister back to the eagle. Her parents had a right to see their daughter. The following months were like none before. Her parents didn't blame Dalena for her death. But that didn't sit right with Dalena. She blamed herself. If only she listened to Ahndrinna. If only she hadn't been so pushy to get them to fly outside the usual barrier. If only they flew higher. If only any of those happened, she would still be alive. This is what changed her happy personality to a stern one. She had been tainted with a nightmare no child should be put through. Twins has a unique bond that no other siblings had. It was a mental bond much stronger than any other bond a human could have with another. To have that severed was worse than death itself. Or that is what Dalena has told herself. It pains her even to this day. Nightmares flash through her mind over the unfortunate event that took place five years prior. Their house hold was never the same. Their mother always looked around, searching for some sort of odd object grown outside. Some type of unique animal to come back. She believed Ahndrinna would come back some way, swapping souls with another to live with them once more even if it was without communicating. Her father grew more distant than before. That stern expression grew hardened with pain, much like Dalena herself. He would star gaze, imaging that she lived in a better place. He slacked in work, in life itself. Dalena herself became distant. She lost her great personality for a harsh, more bitter one. She rarely spoke, easily angered. She felt guilty, no matter how many times her parents would reassure her it wasn't her fault. How couldn't she? There were days that her father wouldn't return from work. She would have to leave home on nights so she didn't have to hear her mother crying through the walls. When she turned 17, she would put a stop to it all. She bid her parents goodbye and ventured on her own. Goodbye wouldn't be forever, she still lived in the same area, but she gained her own place and began working. Maybe there was a way to numb the pain. That is all she searches for. She couldn't live with being under depression for the rest of her life, she needed adventure to live for her dead twin. She was going to live for both of them, and she will. She is, just not the way she hoped. She is set as one of the lowest class within the Inarta. Not complaining about her work, she continues without a single word escaping her lips.
