Heirloom
Hardly considered a heirloom for, to Cedrick,the creature is no other than his beloved brother wolf, Matti, with whom he had grown up. The name however serves little purpose for Cedrick hardly ever speaks tot he beast by name. In fact he hardly ever says actual words to him. Though not related by blood, the bond between the Kelvic and his wolf is of the utmost strength. The pair could almost be considered a mirror image of one another in terms of appearance, though of course Matti has no ability to transform into a human. The pair have been discarded from their pack together and since then have been virtually inseparable.

Housing
Nothing of permanently structure. He goes wherever the wind may take him; be it secret caves in the unforgiving, makeshift burrows within forest foliage, or loitering with nothing but the starlit sky for a cover. Often he'd remain in close proximity to Lhavit for self preservation reasons.

Human appearance
If there is one thing that's really striking about Cedrick, its that he is impossibly pale. His skin is thin and almost translucent, white as ivory, tinted with the greens and blues and purples that would naturally appear in skin, appearing within him with greater prominence. His major veins are also much more prominent. In terms of body build he's neither especially skinny, nor terribly muscular, simply well built for his age and very tall.

Another sign of his Kelvic race are those eyes with which he constantly surveys the world. Eyes which bare so very much apprehension and distrust towards everything they linger upon. Eyes which are vibrant and red, usually dabbed with flecks of honey and hazel in the right light. Those tints are perhaps the only things that differ his eyes from those of a chained one. There's a certain symmetry to his pale face and a chiselled definition to his cheek bones and jaw. A slender nose, pale lips. His canine teeth ale also sharpened both on top and bottom but do not protrude from the straight line of his white teeth. All is framed by black hair which loiters about the line of his shoulders, usually hardly maintained.



Wolf appearance
In his animal form, Cedrick is a massive beast with a pair of formidable fangs and eyes which burn red as embers. A large male, appearing white as snow for a good three quarters of the years. In summer and early fall however his coat bares a variety of grey and rusty hue, which acts as camouflage against Kalea's foliage. He's virtually undistinguishable from normal sky wolfs, other than that he's not quite so lean due to the rarity of true hunger experiences.



Additional wolf abilities
Being a sky wolf, Cedric bears a naturally potent senses of hearing, smell, and sight, especially at night. More often than not it is very well in his ability to track a scent across two miles of snow-covered landscape, or five miles of dry, unbroken landscape. Of course bodies of water and natural gorges greater than several metres in width will always lose scents. These abilities are only really present in his wolf form due to the specialist build of the wolf body for these heightened abilities. However, having almost the same pupil structure in wolf and in human form, the improved eye sight is carried to his human form, even if with marginally lesser magnitude. In wolf form however he is partially colour blind, whilst the human form allows him to distinguish colour much better, yet not quite as well as a normal human eye. These abilities aid him greatly and are almost essential to the perpetuation of his existence.



Personality
Few people really understand Cedrick in terms of the fragility of his personality. On a shallow level he appears withdrawn and distrusting, almost violent in many aspects. It takes little to blow his fuse and when such occurs, it takes plenty to calm him down, most of the time that having to be the dominance of someone over him and forceful reminder of his place. Indeed he's a very dominating presence, seemingly fearless and challenging, yet recklessness is very much not in his style. Often he is almost overly cautious.

Overall, Rick is primarily a kinetic person. He likes to touch things, experience things and his curiosity does often manifest. However he is very much able to subdue such when needed. He;s incredibly protective of his family and friends, often putting the welfare of those he trusts above his own. Gaining his trust however is truly a challenging endeavour. Having lived an existence primarily void of people, it is often difficult to understand certain behaviours and customs of the species. Being resolute however, it is well within his intention to learn whatever be needed to aid his survival.

Beneath the skin however, he is truly fragile in every sense of the word. People who have earned his complete trust - for there is no such thing as partial trust in Ricky's books. One is either a friend, or unimportant and to be avoided - wield the ultimate power over him, being able to shatter him into pieces at a whim. He detests change and then something life altering does occur, he has an impossibly challenging time to adapt to it. Alas, his naturally hostile personality has the potential to land him in dreadful situations and the understanding of his own ability is poor, often leading to over estimation in dire circumstances.



Behaviour
Cedric's method of communication is vocal on the very basic level. It's not that he doesn't know big words - though perhaps his vocabulary is lacking - he simply prefers to keep his speech to a concise minimum. It his his expression that people should pay attention to whilst communicating with him, for that expression tells greater tails of his intent than words. In terms of body language, Ricky's communicational skills are rich, often transcribing from those indigenous to the wolf species, rather than humans. He's not particularly polite, more often than not very blunt. Nevertheless this means not that he isn't capable of affection which, though scarce, is almost always imparted kinetically rather than vocally. Some call him enigmatic, others see that Ricky is substantially a terribly simple being who, when read right, is almost laughably easy to predict.

Matti

In spite of being a simple Sky Wolf, not a drop of Kelvic blood in him, Matti is a brother to Cedrick. They have grown up together, explored the world together and have been banished together. A wealth of experience which drove the two relentlessly close. If need be they'd happily lay down their own life in preservation of the other.

History
Cedric has no recollection of his true parents. Ever since he was but a pup, the Kelvic grew up amongst his own kind, namely a pack of Sky Wolfs in the mountain ranges of Kalea where his adopted wolf family taught him the wild way of life. He'd been an endearing child full of curiosity and naive happiness that only a pup could fathom, energetic and playful. The female which adopted him at the time had another pup of her own, Matti, who became a brother to young Cedrick. Together they explored the world in childish innocence.

As he was growing up, Cedrick would explore his human identity, often venturing into Lhavit under the cover of night to observe the existence of human being. He'd learn about their habits of wearing clothes and their culinary standards. Someone even explained to him the value of money and how he could purchase items with these round things they called Mizas. As he grew up however, he would become more cautious and more mature, for his instinct would obscure that initial childishness, replacing it with the person he is now. Alas on the 21st of winter, 512AV, having reached maturity, he and Matti were expelled from the pack, never to return.

It was precisely then that, by some divine stroke of luck, Ricky and Matti have been assimilated into quite an unlikely pack. Not one of animals, as they were used to, but a conglomeration of Kelvics, a Zith and other races - and what happens after, well... that is yet to be written upon the pages of Cedric's timeline.



Bond mate.
Currently Ricky is half a man. Having spent so much time without human contact, he had never established much friendly connection with the creatures, never mind beginning to find a bond mate. Though if one thing is for certain, is that he needs a Ying to the Yang which he is. A precise opposite of his personality. A calm, tranquil being, an artist or a musician perhaps. Someone to neutralist that vicious nature of his, filling the gap with love that only humans may show.

Suffice to say, I've had somewhat a history of drunkenness. A bad habit. I can't say I remember much of my first encounter with the substance. It was somewhat a blur, to say the least. I do however remember the horror of finding out I can no longer drink, for alcohol seems to have lost it's effect on me.
