Dragul made his way through the streets of Avanthal. Each footprint marking the snow, and leaving behind a trail that anyone could follow, until the trail was lost to the shift wind and snow. Time etched on slowly, and the cold sought ever more ways through the layers of his clothing. The thought of freezing to death at this point only made him laugh, because where the average person would start to turn blue from prolonged exposure to the cold, he would not, being blue already. It was something that he couldn't help but find utterly hilarious.
After a short while, through the chilled afternoon of Taldera, he found himself making his way through a throng of trees. Beyond this, he had been told, was where the Stadium-or the Tundra as he had heard it called-was located. Finally passing the throng of wood, he found himself starring at a rather large structure, and one that did not totally fit in comparison to the architecture of Avanthal. It was still, none the less, impressive.
As he made his way to the entrance, he found himself passing a long line of statues wrought from ice. Each one depicted a unique individual, and he imagined that they were famous individuals, or figures of legend. Each one was beautifully crafted, with a skill like none other that he'd ever seen. Continuing onward, he noticed one thing more prominently utilized here, that was missing in other places around Avanthal; metal.
Upon entering the Tundra at long last, he found himself yet again, in awe of the architecture. Noting the two sections of the Tundra, he quickly found the more or less "gym" and made his way down. He noticed other individuals training with weapons, lifting weights, and practicing other physical regiments. He had decided to start out with some simple calisthenics.
He removed his cloak which would only hinder him in the process of his bodybuilding. He then found an unoccupied section of the gym floor, and began to do a repetition of push-ups. An interval of 15 push-ups, followed by a 30 second break. He continued this process for a total of 4 intervals, so that he did roughly 60 push-ups. Afterwards he found a weight and putting it over his feet, did a similar series sit-ups. The same process ensued until he had finished the same amount of sit-ups. Then he repeated this until he had done a total of 120 push-ups and 120 sit-ups. His warm-up was done.
Tiny beads pf sweat managed to produce themselves from his forehead. The cold made each drop keep him warm. However it was still to cold to shed clothing. He kept an eye on his cloak, so that no one had the opportunity to steal it, or his precious Lakans. Doing a quick cycle of simple stretches, he searched the gym for a pull-up bar. After finding one, he gripped the cold bar, and began to repetitions of 10 pull-ups, followed by a 1 minute break. As he did his pull-ups he watched as a woman made her way into the stadium's gym section, she was rather beautiful. He wondered which hold she belonged to. He quickly ran through the names of the various holds that Svasra had informed him of.
Thinking of Svasra he wondered what she was doing at the moment, as close as they were to departure. He had not seen a shadow in the area of his training, which saddened him, for this was the one activity he performed that he did not mind the shadows watching, and whispering of.
