Vanador Gless ~Physical Information~ Appearance: Vanador Gless is a very tall man, standing at a towering 6 foot 2 inches with long limbs and a slim frame. His skin is very pale and ashen with a sickly and cold appearance to it. The man's hair is fair, pale gray, and very straight; falling lightly around his head just below his chin bone and brushing lightly across his face typically covering one of his very light violet eyes. Vanador is normally found in black clothing with white gloves covering his long black nails with a floral decoder black top hat. Race: Symenestra Age: 23 Birthday: Winter 6th 490 Birthplace: A small Symenestrian settlements in the northern district of Kalea Starting city: Syliras ~Character Concept~ Personality: Vanador is a very amused young man with a cold sense of humor and a twisted view on morals. most people who have spent a lot of time with him would consider him irrational eccentric and maybe even mad. He could be considered Bipolar, whether it was due to his past of his use of Hypnotic Magic. At some moments he may apear calm and silent but in the next you will find him mummbling uncontrolibly about topics or riddles he finds overly indearing. Basic Concepts: Gless' mind is meant to be twisted, sadistic, witty, and daring. His dark cloths and pale features along with the grim topics he finds lovely and bold make him appear very "morbidly amused" as well as very wise. Overall he is seen as a mad man, as mad as could be, with a powerful sense of weary distrust. Likes: Books, Tea, Sweets, Blood, Riddles, Chess, The moon, Manipulation, and Owls. Dislikes: Fools, The overly religious folk, "morally incline" people, The sun, And dogs. ~History~ As a child Vanador spend most of his years training, or at least what his father called training. He thought of it as torture. Like his father and his father before him Vanador spent his early childhood and early teens studying the art of Hypnotism, a Personal Magic passed down in his Symenstrian bloodline sense before the Valterrian. The training was horrifying for him when he was a boy, bending emotion and twisting someones feels, thoughts. And sometimes even actions was not something he enjoyed, and for the first few years he refused to study the magic he seen as evil. This enraged Vanador's Father; A proud Symenestra and the head of his families house who -after the death of his wife in Vanador's birth- was determined in turning his only son into a useful wizard. This and other things lead to a lot of tragic childhood abuse to the young Vanador, possibly damaging his psyche into the state it is in today. As the years passed the forced training and studying of his families magic became a hobby and then latter on became something he enjoyed. Making people think and feel how he wanted was something he began to love, the control was like ecstasy to him, but in the end he found himself craving more. By the time he reached 15 on a late winter night he attempted to leave his home and the village he grew up in, in search of better and more interesting things. Tragically his father tried to violently stop him which lead to a very bloody murder with the combination of the magic that very man taught him and a rusty blade stabbed threw his chest. Then he left Kalea. For the next six years Vanador ventured around the wold, collecting books and other thinks he found amusing as well as some sword training and schooling until he settled down in Syliras and soon after got a job at a little book/antique shop and ended up moving in above the building. Sense then he has been working and studying as well as doing other things he finds amusing.
