32nd Spring, 513 A.V
Upon awakening Ran would walk out from the flaps of his tent, looking at the early afternoon sun. He, himself could not believe that he had slept through the early morning as he would look around for Topaz. Finding him grazing several yards from the tent, near the city and line of horses at the entrance of the city. Walking back into the tent, Ran would straighten his Tunic and put his leather breeches on with his high boots. Wondering what he would do today, as he did plan to either get some learning down or training done. He had yet to decide, as he was just awakening. Looking at his water skin, he would take a drink of the water within. Being warm and wet, though he would try to ignore the warmth of the water.
Grabbing his belt and sword, Ran would strap them upon his waist. Stretching himself, a bit as he would stand up within the four person tent. Looking in the direction of the tents and the city, before he would sit back down shuffling through both his backpacks to ensure he didn't need to add anything to his second from the first. Before he would stand up, walking outside once more. Looking out over the Tents that littered the city. Looking back at his tent, Ran would go do the chores he had to go do.
Walking to the boarder tents of the open city, he would walk down the patted mud and grass street. Walking around, Ran would converse with several of the citizens upon the street. Asking where he could find hunting advice, as he went most of the people he spoke to told him the same thing. Pointing Ran to the direction of the Emerald clan saying, "The Hunters Alliances." Walking to the mass of tents, Ran would look for someone and anyone. Finding a group from the Emerald clan from the design of their tunics and attire.
Approaching the group, Ran would smile a bit before speaking in pavi to them. Making many hand signs of greeting, before asking. "Would any of you know the patterns and migratory regions of some easily hunt-able animals?" More then a few would tell him to go after the Nabato that could be found near Riverfalls part of the Cyphrus. Thinking on this, Ran would thank the group of five people huddled near the Emeralds tents. Before walking off down the street, thinking upon what they told him.
As he walked down the street, he would think how he would get there. Wondering which way would be the safest to a good area with Nabato in it, as he would walk out of the city towards his tent. Seeing Topaz wandering just a few feet from it, as he would go into his tent. Looking around for his gear, as he would place it to the wall. Grabbing some bread from his food supplies, and eating it before washing it down with some of the ale that he had bought.
Looking over his gear, while he ate his bread wondering. Placing the bread partially in his mouth, as most of it was already eaten. He would look over the things, which he had bought estimating that he would probably need another few things before going. However, Ran truly didn't want to spend the coin needed. As he looked over his small rucksack, holding his money. Before he would sigh, wondering how he would earn more. Hoping the hunt in the next few days, would bring him some money or at least some fresh meat.
After finishing his bread, Ran would grab his throwing knife as he would walk outside. Drawing a group of circles in the dirt once more, before walking away several paces and trying his hand at throwing the dagger once more. Throwing it at the circle, he would miss it the first several times. Retrieving the knife after each throw, as he would throw it once more nearly hitting the rim of the outer circle. Walking to retrieve the knife once more, he would walk back to where he had thrown it from previously. Throwing it again, this time though it would land within the outer circle. Though it wouldn't even graze the second or inner circle. Sighing, Ran would walk back over to retrieve it. By this time a trail of sweat would begin to form along the inside of his tunic, the sun blazing down upon him as a cool gust of air blew past him. Feeling the air, Ran would stand there enjoying it. Breathing in the cool fresh breeze, before walking over to Topaz. Who would be laying down by now, rather then roaming or grazing near the tent.
Laying against the horse, Ran would gently pet him staring at the group of circles. Wondering how he would hit an animal, if he couldn't even hit the middle within the group. Sighing, over the thoughts within his head. Closing his eyes, he would lean against Topaz. The horses soft fur, feeling comfortable against his head as he rested. Slowly drifting off to sleep, before it overtook him completely.
