Selana Appearance Race: Selana Gender: Female Age: 20 Birthday: 23, Winter, 593. Birthplace: Syliras Appearance: Selana is of about average height and build, standing at about 5'8" and weighing about 120lbs. In fact when a person glances over Selana they usually think average in regards to everything, she is nice to look at but certainly no where near jaw dropping and she tends to avoid wearing overly flashy clothing no matter her wealth at the time. She is fair skinned and possesses brown hair that reaches to about shoulder length, her face is perpetually stuck in a rather bored and lazy expression. However her most defining feature, the one that most people have to look really close to notice, are her dark eyes which glance over everything they see with an analytical level of thought behind them. Character Concept Most people who know Selana would probably call her a lazy bum who prefers to just lounge around and do as little as possible. This in absolutely correct, in most respects anyway. Selana prefers to do things that require as little effort on her part as possible and is difficult to properly motivate to do anything. She is quite proud of how lazy she can be, citing that it is a cultivated skill to possess such an aptitude for inactivity like she has. Regardless she is easy to approach and talk to and most people feel rather safe opening up to the lazy young woman, believing that she couldn't possibly pose any harm. Beneath all of her laziness lies a genius level intelligence that is constantly absorbing and storing away new information. Her photographic memory allows for near instantaneous recall of any and all data Selana has recorded, data which is often of use to someone willing to pay for it. Politics and information gathering are child's play for her, if she wanted to put forth the effort she could prove to be a fearsome politician and manipulator. Anyone who realizes her intelligence will usually mourn that it was bestowed upon such a lazy soul. Selana is known to have a weakness for games that test the mind as well as games of strategy. She has a loathing for martial combat and disdains having to fight anyone, she would sooner run in the opposite direction of a battle. The woman has absolutely no knowledge regarding magic though it would likely become just another factor in her data than something that intrigued her, as learning it would involve some effort on her part. Character History Selana grew up in the house hold of two Syliran Knights, the youngest of three siblings. Due to her parentage it was expected of her to learn the ways of the knights that she may one day carry on the mantle, something that sounded so mind numbingly dumb that it nearly fried her little three year old brain. Having absolutely no interest what so ever in joining the Syliran Kinghts, Selana instead spent her time ignoring her training sessions and observing the servants as they went about their duties. No amount of reprimands could really change her mind set of rejecting the family tradition, which only continued as she got older. However she was learning other things, more passive skills as she spent her days observing people as the came and went. It became easy for her to predict how people interacted and to listen in on conversations that took place near her. After all, she was just the lazy disappointment, what possible harm could it be to talk near her. Selana quickly learned methods of screening important data to draw clearer pictures about events as they occurred, often making her own predictions on the results of certain occurrences. It became almost a passive thing, to understand complex plots through observation and talking with gossiping servants. Eventually her parents grew tired of her attitude and tossed her out of the house when she came of age, leaving her on her own and disowning her. It took quite sometime but eventually she was able to find a way to make money from her skills, proving to be a valuable broker of information to anyone with the right amount of Mizas. After making a sizable amount of money, Selana left Syliras and eventually ended up in Sunberth where there are no end of individuals willing to pay for good info on their rivals. What is your height? 5'8" 5. What is your weight? About 120lbs. Aesthetics : 1. Describe yourself as you see yourself. A woman of average height and build, not bad looking if I do say so myself. 2. They are probably the only feature I try to actively pamper and make look pretty. 4. How physically fit are you? Eh, not really an outdoorsy person if you catch my meaning. 5. How do you typically dress and what is your style?I'll usually dress in average ways. Occasionally, if I have the money I'll splurge on some good clothes. Family : 1. Have you ever had sex? If so, describe the first time. Yes, Iona taught me the joys of pleasure as we became older. Does any kind scare you? I like the rain, it means I can stay inside. Weather doesn't really frighten me. Outlook : 1. Are you optimistic or pessimistic? Pessimistic, most definite. Worst was probably lying to my sister about her fiancé's affair with another woman, I only wanted to spare her feelings. 2. What is your greatest regret? Leaving Iona behind with only a note. 3. What is your best/worst memory? Best would have to be the first time I shared my bed with Iona. Worst was having to wear a false smile during our last night together. 4.
