Character Concept Alys is quite skilled in identifying plants, healing herself and others, and tracking people and prey... and most of all, able to take care of herself. Without much money or supplies, she must forrage, hunt, and steal for food- an act which has labeled her a thief. Because of her situation and past, she is very distrustful of others. Cautious and cunning, yet fiercely loyal to her allies, Alys, though only fourteen, is not someone you want against you. Character History Alys was born on January 24 only to lose her mother and twin brother due to birth complications. Her father, already slightly offcenter, was driven insane out of grief, blaming his only remaining child for what had happened. Her early life was a living nightmare. Alys ran away from home at the age of 4 mo (approx 8 human years). She was found and returned twice by concerned citizens- much to her and her father's displeasure- in the first few weeks. Eventually she became skilled with blending into the enviroment. She learned how to identify edible plants and set traps for small game. For two months she lived with minimal human(oid) contact, living in a forest in the wilderness. At age 6 months (approx 11 HY), she wondered upon a hunter's camp... and learned the art of thievery. Though she could feed and heal herself, she was hopeless at fashioning clothes. Throughout her life in the forest, her clothes had been reduced to mere rags, and she had no idea of how to repair them. After invading the hunter's camp, she realized she had found a new way of living. By the time she was 7 months she had traveled to the city. Though she still hunts and forrages, she steals her clothing, and food during the winter when it is hard to find.
