While Sylira is by far the most civilized region of Mizahar, countless surprises and encounters await the traveler in its rural wilderness. Called the Wildlands, Syliran's wilderness is comprised of gradual rolling hills in the south that become deep wilderness in the north. Ruins abound throughout the wildlands, and only the well-marked roads are safe.

Imira was about to reply when Dasreide called out from the camp, "Imira! Ruby! Get back to camp! We are leaving!" He hollared, no where in sight but close enough that his loud voice travelled far enough to reach the pair. Imira let out a sigh and closed her eyes, letting her head hang slightly before turning and wading over to the edge of the lake and climbing out. "I'm not sure." Imira said as she picked up her clothes and quickly dressed. She paused only for a moment before she turned and quickly sped back to the camp, disappearing beyond the treeline.
A Note On My Character: Dasreide is departing Riverfall effective immediately and is heading to Syliras via sea. His boat has already left the docks and has begun to make its way upstream to the capitol but will not arrive for at least a season, if not more. Until mid-summer, Dasreide will be inactive and unable to thread with anyone until his boat makes port in the city.

A Winter Child

"I'm not sure." Ruby muttered to herself, imitating Imira. She was puzzled by how someone could be unsure of her love, since Ruby was young and inexperienced, her knowledge only extended to folktales which pictured the world as one would see ideal : black-and-white, with distinct differences between things.

She rose out of the water and stood there bareback for a while, letting the water drip down her soft white skin before putting on her clothes. Even as she approached the forest patch that bordered the camp by the road, her mind was still fixated on Imira, then to Dasreide himself.

Like winter's snow is chill and cold,
what makes humans so shrill and bold,
and pains oneself beyond grave's hold,
that mind itself starts to do mold ?

That makes gods lustful men,
and goddesses longing women,
Exists before words written,
To love, the people say amen !

It was an old poem she recited from her mother's books, the meaning then so distant, yet in the present so constant.

"I'll have to thread carefully from now on." she promised herself before brushing aside the last bushes to the camp.

"There's been a change of plans, Ruby. Imira." He grunted as he readied his supplies, not even bothering to look up as Ruby and Imira arrived. "I am returning to Riverfall." He stated with a frown. His golden irises glanced over to Ruby. "Which means I will not be travelling with you or Imira. The three of us need to go our separate ways."

It was a short and sweet explanation, one that Dasreide ended as he stood and slung a pack over his shoulder, motioning to two others that he had readied. Their rations and supplies had been evenly spread between the three packs, giving Ruby enough food to get to wherever he was going. "When the time comes, I will find you again, Ruby. Until then, stay safe."

He walked to the edge of the clearing, looking back at Ruby for a moment before leaving the clearing in a slight jog. Imira eventually went over and retrieved her pack, sighing. "That's it, then. I'll see you whenever I see you." And with that, she left the clearing as well, heading for Zeltiva like she had planned, going the opposite way that Dasreide went. The clearing went quiet after a while, only the wind blowing through the trees.

A Winter Child

And there she was, alone and cold by the smoldering campfire. They didn't even gave her the chance to wish good fate, just took off. She scanned the forest on her right, then her left. Somewhere among the trees, my friends are there, she thought.

It was a wonderful world, and a big one at that. However lonely she felt, Ruby took comfort in knowing that one day chance would allow them to meet once again in a tavern somewhere, with tall stories of chivalry, thrill, and wonder to tell and spread. All roads are connected, all hearts linked, all fates intertwined, and experiences gained, this was the essence of adventure, she said to herself.

Then, walking spiritedly in the direction of the first breeze that came, Ruby hummed a calm yet whimsical tune, soon to be embellished with words, both representing the same-mannered encounters she'd experienced from last night, the first part of a song that'd tell the stories of Ruby Majalenka, daughter of the White Scholar, soon to attain a title of herself.

First of all, I really had high hopes for this thread while reading it, but then a few posts in, it started to get out of hand. I will not award any XP or Lores for this for several reasons:

  • You can not play an NPC exclusively for multiple posts
  • Swimming in Winter for any amount of time would lead to sickness, injury, death, etc.
  • Sensei, san, etc, are japanese terms, completely unneeded for this thread and Mizahar in general as this is an English speaking RP site.
  • All in all, this whole thread is very unbelievable.
  • Didn't consistently follow Lores.
  • Timeline isn't consistant with other posts and CS
  • Ledgers need to be updated for Summer 513

I highly suggest that for now on, you both play by following what is allowed in the game for what characters can realistically accomplish in character. Please read the Lores for the area and the races. On top of that, I recommend reading through the sites rules as well.

Feel free to pm me if you have any questions about this.
