Birth
Azi was a Dek. There is little to say about the woman other than that. Times were hard for her and she worked almost 24/7. It would have been a complete day if she did not have the need to sleep. She was pushed around and since no laws spoke of how to treat one of her caste, she had to allow it. It wasn't unusual, either when an Endal named Tariq decided he needed to have physical attention and immediately turned to Azi.
The poor woman could do nothing but cope with it and it was to her surprise a few weeks later to learn that she was pregnant. This was not happy news to the Dek who had planned not to ever give birth to children.
But, nine months later Zenara, Tek, and Sirf were born. The three children lived quite separately from each other and there mother. They were immediately put into the nursery to be cared over until they were of eight years of age.
Zen loved the nursery for the plain and simple reason that it provided entertainment for the babe and she was quite an agreeable child. Zen had a special connection with her sister Tek from birth and the two stuck to each other while her brother, Sirf did his own thing around the nursery.
Infancy
Zen was older than her siblings by a few minutes, but if one were to look at the three siblings that would have thought it to be Tek. Zen's older sibling learned to walk at eight months while she and Sirf only gained this skill two months later. Speech came naturally to Tek at six months while to Sirf it was a challenge that he overcome at nine months and one that Zen only mastered once she learned to walk.
Because of this, a slight jealousy came over Zen, but it was always overshadowed by the complete love the girl had for her sister. However, Zen became more and more separated with her siblings as she was a social child and became friends with more than one other child in the nursery.
Zen didn't know who her mother was at this point in her life and no one cared to inform her. Even when she learned how to speak and such, people of an older age told her to go off or to not disturb them. This didn't dampen the mood of the ever happy Zen who just shrugged it away and continued to play cheerily. This lasted until, the very next day, she would ask again.
The saddest moment of the girl's life was when she was two and Tek died. She was crestfallen though she didn't completely understand at that point in her life. She was just incredibly sad that her best friend and sister wasn't there to play with her any longer.
Sirf and Zen became closer by the death since Zen didn't have Tek any longer.
Child
Upon reaching the age of five, Zen completely forgot about Tek, sad as it is, her mind was racing towards other things. She was gaining an interest in the Endals. This began when she saw and Endal with his great falcon and she and her brother both were in complete awe upon watching it.
But, when the girl was eight and she was moved to the youth section, she became more interested in the caste system. However, Zen found nothing wrong with it at all. She thought it perfectly brilliant to have certain people who helped with all the tasks everyone else didn't want to do. Little did she know her mother was one of them.
The history of Wind Reach was also an interesting topic to the young girl and she and her brother had many quarrels for he seemed more interested in watching the Endals.
Zen's life was easy in her eyes and she was comfortable with going on many adventures around Mt. Skyinarta.
Pre-Teen
When Zen was twelve she began to realize that she needed to begin finding skills she was good at and immediately took to falconry. Watching the beautiful birds and trying desperately to connect with one while, at the same time working on her weaponry and trying to become interested in glasswork though all she really was interested in was wearing them in her hair or clothes.
