Valdyor walked into the market with a soft smile. The place was relatively crowded and it was busy. Perfect for snatching a coin purse without getting caught. He kept himself away from most of the jostle of the crowd and people that saw him did their best to avoid him. Especially the women. Even here, in Zeltiva, people had heard of the Harvest and were worried about a Symenestra abducting them.
Still, the crowds were close, and while a jostling crowd did make him slightly nervous, his frail structure not used to such things, his chitin armor was protective and light and he knew the closer people were, the easier it would be to snatch some cash. Valdyor wandered the market, eyeing up marks and making a pretense of looking at items on stands.
As he walked, he smiled as a merchant turned away from his stand to shout at a passing couple, hawking his wares. Valdyor quickly snatched an apple from the stand and walked away, tossing it in his hand and smiling. He quickly bit into it and began to liquefy its internal makeup, holding it in his hand for later eating. He smirked as he headed towards his mark. He quickly walked past, bumping into the man and lifting his coin purse from his belt, slipping it into his pouch as stealithly as possible, turning to help hide the motion as he did so.
"So sorry, I was not watching where I was going properly. I hope I have not given any offense," Valdyor said, his speech soft and lilting slightly.
