The Myrian cursed suddenly - The man had not revealed himself to Funestae, instead merely dismissed any threat and continued his routine. The Myrian became enraged at the neglection by the man lurking in the brush. He tore aside the overgrown roots and branches and plundered through the forest after him. With his stealth at work he approached, the foreigner barely able to predict his approach. His speed was sacrificed by the subtlety, but it paid off when the cloaked figure wasn't able to determine Funestae's movement.
The Myrian suddenly found himself (though not in view) at the left of the man, and extended an arm to tap his shoulder. "I was talking to you!" When he talked, he was firm, though his teeth hadn't adapted properly for civilised communication, instead he spat through his fangs and sprayed the Human unintentionally with saliva.
"Answer me stray dog, who are you? Provide a civil response and I shall spare your suffering." He looked the man in the eye, attempting to intimidate him. The outcome was the bird fleeing to the canopy. |
