Physical Description
Standing at 5'0'' tall and weighing 100 pounds soaking wet, Adoros doesn't fall under the "big and brawny" category of some living in Mizahar. But he is young and still had years of growing ahead of him. His dark hair, which some consider red and some dark brown, is a mess atop the young boy's head. It is a hassle to keep neat, so Adoros doesn't bother with it; the wild hair look doesn't really bother the boy. His pale skin and dull green eyes hinders his features, giving him a dull look about him. Plus his clothing tends to be dark colors. To others that don't know him, he appears to be a boring child. Those who do, though, have different feelings for this child.

Character Concept
Adoros is a mute; he has been since he was born. Because of this, the child's personality developed unlike many children of his age. He is withdrawn, quiet, and difficult to interact with. He would rather draw in his notebook instead of playing outside with children. Since his parent's death was recent, this has further pushed Adoros away from others. He is a loner trying to live this harsh life by himself.

But to anyone who takes the time to befriend young Adoros, they realize just who the child is inside. . . he's a storyteller. Sitting alone for long periods of the day allows Adoros' mind to wander, creating story after story. On the outside, he is a little boy with a disorder that may have ruined his life. But on the inside, he is the true Adoros.

Creative best describes this child once you get to know him. Because to tell his stories, he has to be creative.

Character History
Born to two human fur traders, Adoros spent the majority of his life in the city of Avanthal. The Vantha culture inspired his love of storytelling; being too young to do much work, Adoros would often from hold to hold, stopping whenever he found someone telling a story. If he had grown up anywhere else, his desire to craft stories might've never sparked. But it had sparked and grown into a blazing inferno inside of him. He wanted to be a storyteller.

But for some reason, Adoros' parents felt the need to leave their child at home with his grandmother before their winter trip north in search of their furs. At the time, it bothered Adoros to be left behind, when on some many other trips he had been taken along.

Never once, though, did Adoros ever think this would be the last time he'd ever see his parents.

For while they were still somewhere in the north, in search of the furs, the Spring Djed Storm of 512 AV struck, changing Adoros' life forever. His grandmother died shortly after the storm, leaving Adoros alone in the vast city of Zeltiva. Some god was looking out for Adoros during this time in his life, and somehow, Adoros gained a home in the Farson Home for Orphans in Zeltiva. At the time, Adoros told them (in the best way a mute could tell), that he would stay only if they'd allow him to leave with his parents when they returned to Zeltiva looking for him. Unwilling to destroy the child's hopes, they granted his wish. So Adoros waited for his parents to return

He waited for a whole year. . .

But by the Summer of 513 AV, it was time for the waiting to be over. So Adoros officially became one of the adoptable children of this home. Now his waiting went from "when his parents were returning home" to "who will be his new parents"

A tough life to live for one who cannot even voice his own discomforts

"When words escaped me, I replaced them with pictures."

"Everything is black and white for most of you. Either you know the answer or you don't. But I am stuck in that grey area. I know the answer but I cannot give it to you."

General Information :
1. What is your Name?
Adoros.
2. Do you go by a nickname or pet name?
Umm. . . the mute?? I don't know; I have never asked anyone what they call me.
3. How old are you?
13
4. What is your height?
Five foot and an sixth. The sixth is important.
5. What is your weight?
One hundred pounds on a good day.

Aesthetics :
1. Describe yourself as you see yourself.
A misunderstood child who has so much more inside than is revealed to others. An underestimated individual. A storyteller.
2. Describe yourself as others typically see you.
A child who has suffered his entire life from his disorder, and from the recent death of his parents. A quiet individual who may never recover from what he has experienced in his short time on earth.
3. What is your favorite body feature?
My brain, because it is the only thing everyone else cannot see at first glance. It is the part of me that forces others to actually get to know me before they make assumptions.
4. How physically fit are you?
I'm no muscle man, but I'm also not overweight.
5. How do you typically dress and what is your style?
Dark clothing, hardly any color unless that piece of clothing is given to me. It adds to the illusion that I'm depressed, but in reality I never wore bright clothing. I'm mute, not blind; even I can see that some colors aren't meant to be worn by humans.

Family :
1. Who are your parents and what are they like?
They were Jare and Warina, and they were awesome.
2. Do you have any brothers or sisters?
No. I was an only child.
3. What is your extended family like?
Other than my parents, the only other family I ever knew was my grandmother. She didn’t like to talk much either, so we got along just fine
4. Do you consider close friends as important or more/less important than family?
Tough question. I had friends in Avanthal, and some days I'd rather be with them than out in the freezing wilderness trapping with my parents. But now that they're dead, I think family is more important. Although that mindset will probably change when I make more friends.
5. Do you treat animals like family?
Not really. I mean I'm not cruel to them, but their furs kept me living. So sometimes, the animals need to die.

Location :
1. Where were you born?
In the city of Avanthal. Daddy wanted to have me outside where they were trapping, but mother would have none of that. Too cold to spread her legs she told me.
2. Where do you live now?
I currently reside in Zeltiva
3. If you could live anywhere in Mizahar where would that be?
I'd live in any place that had people who understood the true me.
4. Do you have a favorite place to vacation or spend leisure time?
A nice corner in the room with a notebook and time on my hand.
5. Where do you fear to be?
The attic. There are strange noises in the attic

Traits :
1. Do you have any physical weaknesses (disease, scars, and missing limbs?
No
2. Are you right handed or left handed?
I write with my right hand.
3. What languages do you speak? What do you sound like? Do you have an accent?
That's an. . . insulting question.
4. Do you have any odd mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
Defining characteristics? My inability to speak is defining. Other than that, I'm "normal."
5. Do you have (or want to get) any tattoos or piercing? Why do you have them (or will get them) ?
I don't have any, and I doubt I'll get any.

Occupations :
1. What is your occupation?
I'm currently unemployed.
2. Do you like/dislike your work? Why?
Yeah, doing nothing is actually nice. Allows more free time to do other things I like.
3. If you could be anything you wanted to, what would you be?
A storyteller. That is my goal in life.
4. What occupation do you admire the most? Why?
I admire the common fur trader, who relies on the animals around him.
5. What occupation do you lest like? Why?
Get back with me after I experience the whole employment scene.

Childhood :
1. What sort of child were you?
A child who followed his parents rules, and never talked back.
2. What is your favorite memory from childhood?
Seeing a pod of dolphins while sailing back home in Zeltiva
3. What is your worst memory from childhood?
The storm that killed my parents.
4. What sort of relationship did you have with your parents?
A loving one. We all were happy together.
5. Who was your most influential rolemodel?
My father, who provided for his family no matter what.

Education :
1. What sort of education do you have?
I can draw. . . Being the son of a fur trader didn't really require an education. But I'm still young, so getting an education is still entirely possible.
2. Do you like/dislike learning?
Depends on what I'm learning. A new story? Sounds great. How to change a diaper at the orphanage? Sounds boring.
3. Where or how did you learn most of your skills/abilities?
Those skills that I have learn have been through practice.
4. How do you learn best?
Through practice.
5. What are your educational goals for the future?
Become skilled in any and everything that'll help me become a skilled storyteller.

Relationships :
1. Do you form close bonds with people? Why? Why not?
When my parents were alive, forming bonds were easier. But living alone in an orphanage is difficult. I won't say I cannot form close bonds, but it is tougher for me.
2. Do you trust people easily? If not, why not?
Not really. I was always taught not to trust easily, but then again, it isn't impossible to earn my trust.
3. Do you consider yourself straight, gay, bi, or something else?
Girls have kooties, but guys have a puzzle piece that just doesn't match my puzzle piece. So I'm straight.
4. Have you ever been kissed? If so, describe the first time.
My mommy kissed me, but girls haven't soiled me just yet.

What's sex?

The non-alcoholic kind.
4. Have you ever tried drugs (mood altering substances)? If so, which kinds and what did you think of them?
Never had them.
5. What do you think of drugs and alcohol? Be specific.
If others want to drink it, they can have it. I'm just not one of those people at the moment.

Likes and Dislikes :
1. What are your hobbies?
Drawing and thinking up new stories.
2. Do you like to read?
If what I'm reading is interesting.

5. What kinds of things embarrass you? Why?
When someone asks me a question and I can't answer them.

Favorites :
1. What is your favorite color or colors?
Grey.
2. What is your favorite time of day?
Night time, when I'm in bed. Then it is normal when I don't interact with others. Plus dreams are interesting too.
3. What is the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen?
Syna rising, his rays of light poking through the pine trees in the Northern reaches. Breath-taking.
4. What do you like to eat? What do you hate to eat?
I love fish of any kind. At this point of my life, veggies are still disgusting.
5. What is your favorite type of weather? Does any kind scare you?
My favorite weather is an overcast day. Storms are the worst though.

Outlook :
1. Are you optimistic or pessimistic?
Unsure at the moment. It would be easy to say I'm pessimistic after all I've been through. But I spent my entire life telling myself that I would become a storyteller. That can be considered positive thinking. I'll put it to you this way. When the question "do you see the mug half full or half empty," I reply with "either way, I think it needs a refill."
2. What are your religious views?
My parents never really introduced me to the gods. It is up to me now to determine my religious views.
3. Would you be able to kill?
After losing my parents, I'm pretty sure I couldn't kill anything.
4. What are your views on sex?
Again, what is this sex you speak of?
5. What, in your opinion, makes a successful life?
Achieving your goals.

Not quite sure.
2. What is your greatest regret?
Not dying with my parents.
3. What is your best memory?
My parents' smiling faces.
4. If you could change one thing about your past, what would it be and why?

5. What are you the most proud of doing in your life?
Never giving up.

Emotions :
1. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings with others?
Very few know what is going on in my head.
2. Do you have any biases or prejudices?

3. What makes you happy?
A good story.
4. Who or what, if anything, would you die for?
At the moment, no one has earned that ultimate sacrifice from me.
5. What makes you angry?

Relationships :

I tend to shy away from others. But I'm not mean to them, though.
2. Who is the most important person in your life, and why?
My important person died.
3. Who is the person you respect the most, and why?
I can respect anyone who takes the time to get to know me. So I respect few people.
4. Do you have a spouse or significant other? If not, describe an ideal lover.
No lover for me. As for ideal, my first priority would be a girl. Other than that, until I actually experience this, I don't know my wants yet.
5. Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why
It is a blind trust, but yes, I do believe those around me will protect me.

Group Situations :
1. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict?
Avoid conflict.
2. Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations?
Very rarely will I take leadership. Because who wants to take orders from a child.
3. Do you like interacting with large groups of people? Why or why not?
Not really. Those kind of interactions would be unnerving.
4. Do you care what others think of you?
Yes, even though it is difficult to make them think different.
5. What do you think of others, in general?
