Facing Thunder Island, a colorful, warm pool series of crystal clear water creates a safe haven for many indigenous aquatic creatures can be found. Many small coves create The Indelible Haven's beautiful scenery. The series of coves were given the name The Indelible Haven, because of the safe shelter if has provided for many years. Ever since the Inarta can remember, the Haven has been untouched by any storm that has hit Thunder Bay. Even after the Djed storm, the Haven was nearly unaffected.
When storms hit Thunder Bay, fish gather in the warm waters of the Haven to keep safe. Because of strong rocks that decorate the shores, the water is highly protected from strong winds and rain. Strong rip currents from the sea do not have the chance to get the water in the coves because of their puzzled organic shapes.
During the hot months, the water keeps a warm, comfortable temperature, cool enough for wading, warm enough to make one never want to leave. During cooler months, these waters cool by a few degrees but for the most part stay warm. Reaching The Indelible Haven during Winter is nearly impossible due to the cold, harsh weather, but if one was able to, the coves would keep their serene condition. Many Inarta believe that under the water and sand that line the coves, there may be strand flows of lava from the Mount Skyinarta. Others believe that the Haven was created by one of the God's as a Sanctuary.
One of the Cove's is home to a natural flow of fresh, pure and cold drinkable water. This is an estuary, a stream that enters the salty waters and also creates an area for unique plant and animal life under the water. This is where the
Haven's Slides are located. Being one of the cooler pools of water, this section creates a place to swim when the weather is it's hottest.
Many different areas of land reach out into the Indelible Haven. To one side, mostly green, luscious trees, bushes and other forestry plants grow and survive, using the fresh water streams near the Slides to grow to great heights. Various wild berries and fruit can be found. Other coves have large rocky formations that over look the clean water. These rocks can provide a great amount of shade in the morning and evening, when the sun is not high in the sky.
