ImageThe dodging of the elbows had saved Xi the use of some djed in the long run having been able to fully cancel the use of it on the elbows instead of going through with them. What shocked him though was the speed which his reply came at. The punch to his stomach Xi felt scrape across his abdomen along side the other three of his own. Striking Xi, however with the twisting of Xi's body the blows which were meant to be direct hit's became nothing more than glancing passes. As Xi's own flux powered monster hit Karl. Xi then followed it up this time he wasn't taking prisoners. Xi shifted his feet using his right arm as a base and brought his flux into his right arm shifting his footing and standing his ground, enduring the minor groan he felt across his chest as his right arm set it's place by his side and the onslaught began, within the space of one second Xi shot out fourteen punches, in what would appear random directions. One to the face, then liver, back to the broken ribs, spleen, face, diaphragm, sternum, back to the face back to the spleen, liver, stomach, then the unbroken ribs sending them cracking into oblivion.

His left arm then still remaining free he brought his flux across his arms and snapped out his left elbow like a sharp drawn blade aiming for karl's jaw, snapping his elbow across aiming to break his jaw with a sharp stinging twice speed flux enhanced swing followed up by a pull back and a full shattering of karl's jaw. Xi grinned and then brought his right up like a hammer from beneath the flux surging down and twisting his body along side his punches sending his right arm powering up like a cannon for a haymaker upper cut to smash karl's now shattered jaw into dust. Xi's breath's were slow and steady his ever move planned and calculated but his djed pool was starting to hit around it's middle ground...Soon he'd have none if he kept up his assault at this pace. "I've had enough!" If all those attacks hit odds were karl would be doubled over, heck if even half those attacks hit, then karl was likely to be doubled over in pain lurching at the ground. Xi would then finish it and lay his right elbow with twice speed and strength from flux into the back of karl's neck, aiming to sever his spinal cord and kill him instantly.

Karl took all the blows easily, barely reacting, though they did quite some damage. On the last one, the elbow to his neck, he moved, faster than Xi himself. The man sent a cross counter to Ximal's head, using both of their momentum to increase the force even more. Should it hit, it would knock Xi out cold almost instantly.
OOCI hope I did this right... and I'm just going to continue, to save us a pair of posts...

When the fighter awoke, the area was calm and quiet, the moon still as bright overhead. Xi would feel no pain whatsoever, despite his blow to the head. The one strange thing would be an intense urge to go up to the snakes, still sitting on the dais, and touch them.

If Ximal did touch the stone creatures, with both hands, they would immediately begin moving up his arms, twisting their way up, then back down again. It would end with their jeweled eyes resting atop the back of his hands, and the end of their tails on top of his shoulders. The whole body would be wrapped around his entire appendages loosely. They felt slightly cold, but not too much so, mostly like normal stone. However, the strangest thing was that they were unbreakable, no matter what Ximal did to try and remove them. The stone also moved with his arms, allowing the man to twist and turn them as usual.

Strangely enough, if Xi tried to leave after this, there would be an opening in the rubble that was not there before. It led to the obvious area of the Aperture, and after maybe only a ten chime walk, Ximal could reach the ladder he'd climbed down, with no interruptions. The moon would stay shining, the snakes would stay on the man's arms, and nothing, not even a corricore, would attack.

It was going so well and Xi could see his attacks hitting for some heavy damage until...He was hit by something he himself used , and something that he loved using on people larger than himself...The cross counter...It came too fast as his elbow flew at his opponent, and then before he could blink...It was lights out. Oddly though when he came to his senses, Xi felt normal, no pain no headache no issues. However there was a strong and over whelming urge to walk towards those snakes and pick them up. Xi stepped towards them still wary of the voice around him, still wanting to know more about the best that had challenged him to a duel in more ways than one. Xi stepped up to them, the he stone creatures looking more like moulded and malleable silver than Cut stone or anything else, etched and embossed so delicate and intricately even the amethysts for the eyes looks like something that was made to be there. Painstakingly crafted, but what real harm could there be in touching them. Xi picked one up with each hand and before he knew it something was happening.

The snakes had begun to climb his arms the stone swirling and intertwining with the curves of his arms then coming back down for the head of the snake to rest above the backs of his palms, the bodies winding and intertwining around his arms. What was it with this place and stone items? Xi then brushed his hand against oen the cold feel of the snake motionless on his arm now Xi tugged at it, trying to get the snake to pull off, but nothing could remove it...He took a deep breath and decided he'd find out how to remove them later. Or better yet..."I played your game , i won your prize and i'm wearing your toy...Just tell me one thing...How do i take them off, or hide them? That's all i want to know...Or at least how do i turn off what they do? I have people i teach and i don't want to hurt them..." Nothing but silence however as Xi moved his arms the snakes moved with them with incredible fluidity and grace. As if they were designed for just him.

Xi turned around to see an opening in the rubble. Xi bolted for it taking no time to wait, and before he knew it he'd made it back to the ladder, the moonlight shining down on to him as he hauled himself up that rope ladder the silvery rays of leth poking at him as he ascended from the depths of darkness back into the land of the light. What was odd though was that on his way back to and up the ladder nothing had even remotely glanced at him he'd met nothing else...Did this place just like to torture the people that went down there? Or was ther a higher purpose to it's misgivings...Either way, He'd done it, he'd taken up the monks challenge and completed it. Xi smirked even as the pale snakes purple eyes shone in the dim eerie glow of leth's foreboding light.
