Inayl is a human, male, who currently lives in the city of Syliras, and he's in trouble...
Long story short:
Parents sold him to a wizard, with whom he lived for about a year as his reverse-leeching guinea pig, until he was eventually saved by a pascid Knight.
The pascid Knight, unable to roam Mizahar in his own form due to the injuries he sustained, sealed himself in the form of a necklace and forcibly bound himself to Inayl... who is unaware of this and now spends most of his time looking for the knight, who is involuntarily poisoning Inayl's mental health by draining his djed.
My story will soon have to take certain roads in a yellow wood; he will either manage to form a real contract with this familiar and start travelling through Mizahar, or he'll fail to realise the Knight he's looking for resides in the amulet around his neck... and go bat-shit insane as a result of djed-drainage.
This choice would be yours

As my mentor, you would be able to choose whether you'll help Inayl discover the truth about his necklace, or if you'll rather let him die... to perhaps make an attempt at controlling the pascid yourself

In return for helping me unravel my plotline, you'll receive a valuable apprentice and future threading partner

Fair warning: not a native, not a writer, but a learner.
Oh, and one more thing: he's currently in Syliras, but doesnt mind joining a travelling wizard or so...
