Celedia Beaumont
name: Celedia Beaumontnickname: Celie, Cel
race: Okomo Kelvic
birth-date: Winter 76th, 509AV
age: 3
location: Lhavit
height: 5'3"
appearance
okomo: In her animal form, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between Celie and any other Okomo. Her pelt is just a shade off of pure black, with purple and blue undertones that show up in the right lighting. Her horns are a subtle violet that spiral up to a height of 1.5ft, and she tops of at 56 inches, not including the horns.
human: Celie has long, wavy black hair with just a hint of blue, and a face that's somewhere in between plain and pretty. Her almond-shaped eyes hold a peculiar violet-grey shade reminiscent of an okomo's, and a pale, olive shaded skin tone. She has a pear shaped body but muscular body, with strong legs and exceptional balance. She dresses as any other Lhavitian woman would: long, silk dresses and sable lined coats in the cold. Her hair is usually let down while she's inside, but almost always pinned up in at least a quick bun to keep it from flying around.
character concept
subject to change
Celie is generally calm and docile, and incredibly empathetic. That doesn't stop her from becoming fierce and protective, and no one should ever confuse her docility for naivety or weakness. Some people forget that there's also an animal inside. She prefers to be around people she's close to and familiar with rather than with strangers. She is constantly and inexplicably looking for someone to bond with, whether it's conscious or not.

history
She was born as Celedia Beaumont to a mostly human family; no one expected this strange, sickly kelvic girl to be born. It wasn't the first time that a kelvic had been born in the family, but it had been a rare occurrence, to say the least. Not that her parents weren't overjoyed at her birth and the discovery of Celie being an Okomo. It was this discovery that led to her having some of the best doctors and healers Lhavit could offer - all for the sacred beast born into a human. Her family wasn't wealthy, but they weren't poor, and she received an education as much as she would allow it - that being, not very much. She never passed reading more than a children's book, but her parents hope that will change when she bonds, hopefully to a lucky member of the Shinya. Celie never really had much time to herself, though, constantly being put on display to visitors and being kept in a bubble for most of her life. It was only recently that she broke through her bubble and began to live on her own, for the most part.
