1st Day Of Summer, 510 AV
Aleksander's hoofs clattered along the path as he trotted, his tail swatting away the bugs as they came to inspect him. He carried items tied tightly down to his saddlebags, and he held his head high, proud to be strutting about. There was just something rather wrong, there was no one leading him, nor anyone riding him. He was just strutting around, his clean black coat shimmering against the sunlight.
A female, abnormally thin and bright red hair sits crouched down in front of bush with flowers, she was just quietly watching them, she wouldn't touch them, for she was unfamiliar with this type of flower. Slowly her slender fingers outstretched to one of the flowers, the tip of her index finger slipping over the petals of the flower. Drawing her finger back she looked down at her finger, waiting to see if her finger would turn red, if it did, then she wouldn't be able to pick it up without a cloth.
She quickly comes to find out that her finger didn't turn red. She lightly snapped the flower mid-way off the stem, flipping open her book to an unused page. Laying the flower onto it, and shutting the book, she refastens the leather strap around the book, then stands. She looked around for Aleksander, wondering where he had wondered off to. She places her thumb and index finger just inside her mouth, blowing air between them to create a loud whistle. Aleksander's ears twitch at the sound, and he turned on the path trotting back her way, but his head wasn't held so high.
She started down the path, looking around for Aleksander, not understanding why he loved to just wonder off. She whistled again, then spots him coming to her. She smiled and strokes his nose when he comes near, she goes to his side, placing her book gently back into its spot amongst her other possessions. "Well, Aleksander, lets get back on track."
She gave a quiet laugh, pulling herself up onto his back, settling. She gathered his reins and gently snapped them. Aleksander pulled forward, his head held high as he strutted along, she smiled, then pulled the reins. Aleksander tossed his head around, refusing her demands, but she continued pulling, making the horse take steps backwards. Aleksander stomped his feet as he stumbled backwards, hating this. She loosened the reins and Aleksander charged forward, stomping along as he did so. She was very loud, but she didn't seem to notice how easily that could attract attention.
