The Freight Docks The freight docks are somewhat separate from the passenger quay, though the harbor isn't inordinately large. Modest warehouses are part of this external trade complex, either waiting for raw materials from without or full of finished goods for export. Some few foreigners who are in the know will disembark here rather than at the passenger quay, but this generally requires a bit of a bribe as the Denvali are keen to have their guests meet a warm welcome at the Stranger's Welcome. This area is patrolled day and night due to its high incidence of crime relative to the general peace of the rest of Denval. Foreigners are advised to beware of criminal activity, however, as even the young Denvali children are aware of their warrior heritage and the martial arts are encouraged in all citizens regardless of occupation.
