Character History

Born in the beautiful but harsh deserts of Eyktol in the village of Eloab, Olathe is one of the daughter of a great Chaktawe worrier and an amazing weaver. At age 9 Olathe lost her father in a battle with another tribe, she has made it her duty to live up to her father’s name and become a great worrier as he once was. Since her father had died she holds great grief for his loss, feeling as though if she was not born a girl she could have helped him in the war and he would still walk by her mother’s side. The thought of her father puts her mother in great sadness, losing someone so close to a person hurts worse than death; the pain goes on as long as the person lives. Growing up Olathe wanted to prove that women were capable of being good worriers and hunters instead of weaving, cooking, bearing, and looking after children. Till this day she still works to fight the ignorant and show that woman are just as equal as men, she does think that some women may choose to the idea of “women life” and not the life of a worrier but she is one willing to do both.
