Considered one of the most mysterious cities in Mizahar, Alvadas is called The City of Illusions. It is the home of Ionu and the notorious Inverted. This city sits on one of the main crossroads through The Region of Kalea.

Well it could have been worse, Sami mused as she took steps around the unfamiliar city. Well, no. That was a lie in its finest form. She just had yet to realise it.

She had barely been within its walls for a few bells and already she found herself going round in circles, or at least it felt like she was going in circles. Unintentional ones that seemed to take her to the point in which she started to the point that she was certain she had passed the same street five times now and the same dingy looking alleyway at least once more. Though her walking could have also been marked it as a blessing; it meant that she could shake away her sea legs and replace them with ones use to solid ground instead of a rocking deck. Hoisting her pack onto her back with the rattling quiver and bow, the young Inarta focused herself on working her way towards potential lodging. The city of course had other plans for her, leading her time and again to dead ends or stone roads leading off to somewhere else. She was not sure on where, but she was not about to let her guard down to find out either.

Or at least until she was finally forced to stop at the entrance of a temple. Sighing the girl gave a final glance at the direction she had come, before marching her way along the paved road to the massive structure that towered above. Taking a chime or two to look upon the stone arch ways she could not help but stare at the group that had congregated around its main entrance. There was no use trying to force her way in for a better understanding of what the temple, and so she took to hovering around the courtyard. Looking up upon the moss covered spires, Sami took it in with bored and tired eyes. All she wanted to do was get to some lodgings, not be taken for a long trip around the city and its sites.

"What a pain," she muttered as she perched within the shade of the bell tower. The city felt strange to her, pulsing and alive with people. Not like it was in Riverfall, this time it was different. It was strange, weird. Surreal would have been the best way to describe it. And it made her feel uncomfortable. The city was alive alright; but in a different way to the norm. How exactly she was not sure, but time would certainly reveal that mystery. In theory at least.

[Temple of Ionu] A new place

"You should have done more! I was right there, in Kalinor, but you never even thought to try and find the truth did you?" Iredeth was stalking back and forth in front of Nisana, lecturing her while glaring angrily with bloodshot eyes, "You just wanted to keep your happy little life with your Web, with our MOTHER!"

With her jaw tightly clenched Nisana wandered through the streets. She was sure that Iredeth was not really there, having not seen her half-sister since that fateful encounter in Riverfall, but she could not shut out her voice or appearance. So she struggled against the urge to scream back, to lash out, as she wandered and waited for the figment to leave. Instead she settled for clenching the straps on her backpack tightly.

"Even when we met you didn't care for me, and you just thought everything was about you. Stupid little half-blood trying to dirty the Curare name. Well no one out here cares about your Web! They don't see a proud heritage when they look at you, they just see a monster!"

Nisana's jaw trembled with the desire to respond to the hateful words, but some of that anger was soothed when her eyes glanced over where she had found herself. Not that the Temple of Ionu was somewhere she liked to frequent, preferring to give her prays to Viratas in private, but it was instead who she saw next to the temple. A girl, with bright red hair, sitting by herself in the shadow of the bell tower. Even more interesting was the fact that the girl seemed to be in possession of a bow.

Lengthening her stride slightly, in a futile attempt to outpace Iredeth, she approached the girl with her best attempt at a pleasant smile. It was obviously strained, but she at least managed to keep it from being a grimace.

"I bet you're happy, monster. Look at the innocent little girl by herself. I bet all you can think about it the possibility of dragging her back to die giving birth to Serena's child. Nothing would make you happier," Iredeth sneered at Nisana's side.

"Hello child," Nisana spoke softly as she crouched down near the girl, so as to not loom over her, "How does this day find you?"
"Moz seh krevas dav'ene obris zhevat."

Sami gave a yawn, and then turned her eyes up to the one who had hovered over her for a second and crouched before her. There was a slow blink, a look of contemplation. A stranger had approached. A creepy looking one at that. Pulling at the bow string and testing it, the Inarta did not bring herself to answer. Or more correctly she put off responding until she was both certain that nothing too bad would happen, and that she was happy with her bow. She looked at the end, and traced her fingers down the tense edge. The eyes once more slid onto the woman, and the weapon was lowered.

“Gods you’re a pale petcher,” she gave a stretch, clicking her neck and laying her eyes properly onto the Symestra. It was blunt and to the point. Lips pursing she leaned back slightly, holding her gaze before finally answering her question, “As any other day in a balmy summer finds me. In the shade and out of the main heat.” Smirking she continued to hold herself there, her eyes drifting once more to the front of the temple and those that seemed to continue to gather around the entrance of the temple. After a few more chimes resting and relaxing, then perhaps she would think about making a move. There was no immediate panic to move on after all.

With the smirk continuing to hold, the girl watched the world go by, ignorant to who was next to her and the strained smile that was fixed there. Her pack was placed down, and she gave one final click before throwing herself backwards onto the ground beneath. It was pleasant in the shade, comfortable too; it sure beat sleeping upon a rocking boat and listening to the waves around one’s self. Exhaling Sami made herself continue to speak, “So you want something? Or do you want me to give back small talk?”
