Basic Information

Race: Human
Birthday & Age : 487 Winter, 23
Gender: Male

Physical Description

Dieter Heydrich stands at 5'9, with medium length brown hair, brown eyes that at times seem quite reflective. He weighs about 157 pounds, and is of an average build, though he is quite weak. His skin is somewhat pale, more from rarely leaving the house than any natural pigmentation. His nose is somewhat large, with relatively angular features.

Character Concept
Always laughing, Dieter often strikes others as an eccentric individual, best kept at a distance. This combined with his many strange comments generally leaves the wizard a loner. This outward appearance is maintained by the man for a single purpose, to keep the prying eyes of other people away, that he can practice his sorcery in a relative secrecy. He cares only for his books, and the power that his magic can bring him, summoning, the power over the otherworldly beings. He will generally spend his time holed up in his library, or trying to find the treasures that others would not appreciate.
The mage finds the 'ignorant' ones who would stop him from practicing his 'art' abhorrent, and worthy of his wrath. Also upon his list of disliked things include gnosis bearers and oddly enough, animals.
Regarding other people, he would generally use them for his own purposes, as opposed to a purely honest front. Though he would likely not put another in extreme danger, unless he really wanted something. He generally considers most of society's useless, and were he not afraid of repercussions, would likely steal, lie and cheat without restraint. In his opinion, the only reason life is worth living is entertainment, a boring life should be alleviated with suicide.

Character History

Dieter was born to a quite wealthy merchant family, a family that valued material things in all of there forms, among them the arts, and to a lesser extent, books. Now, they were likely to fill their house and storages with what some negative people would call 'useless junk'. The family in reality had very little idea of what exactly they were buying (or taking as payment for some debt or another) more often than not, and therefore acquired many questionable items. They filled a great many boxes with these ever so precious books, art, and implements sending some of the obviously rare items to the attic or other places for safekeeping, while keeping the rest visible or sold to paying costumers, for money was the purest expression of material gain.

Surrounded by this endless search for wealth in all of its forms, the somewhat sheltered lad retreated to something that surrounded him, books. These objects consumed the somewhat sheltered lad's attention; pushing the few peers he was allowed access swiftly away. This somewhat antisocial behavior was looked on with some worry by his parents. This continued for several years, punctuated by tutors and other teachers. He looked to likely be some scholar, or other learned, useless man; at least not useful to a business. Talks were had of passing the inheritance to an older cousin on the father's side named Gerhard Heydrich.

Eventually the youth found a grimoire of summoning in the attic one day, as he searched for fiction. The book led to experimentation, and eventually discovery. This led to him being sent away, with a some possessions to Syrilas.(Will edit history soon.)
