Barn Race: Domestic cat Kelvic Gender: Female Age: 1 year (Looks 15-18 in human form.) Birthday: 30th of Spring, 512 AV Birthplace: Zeltiva Appearance: Barn has black hair that drops down to her shoulders. She stands around 5'6 and weighs 127 pounds. She's rarely in her human form, since her orange eyes give her Kelvic nature away. Her canines are sharper than the average human's as well as her nails. Barn's limbs are lean and strong, and she moves like a cat: Silent and gracefully deadly. She has a slim build and isn't well-endowed, but that suits her just fine. Her cat form is simple, only a foot and a half long excluding her tail. She has short, oil-black fur that refuses to 'rust' in the sunlight, or turn her coat brown. A few white hairs decorate the left side of the bridge of her nose, giving the impression that someone forgot to brush off a bit of snow. Her bright orange eyes that are retained in human form seem to stare into one's soul, but then again, don't all cats seem to be doing that? Character Concept Barn is careful and cunning, though she won't hesitate to jump into a warm lap. She stays in her cat form almost all the time, only reverting to human when she needs to purchase something. Even then she takes care to cover her eyes with the shadow of the hood of her cloak and only buys necessities at night or on a busy market day when merchants will sell and not bother taking a good look at their customers. Her favorite place to bask in the sunlight would be on top of roofs, out of sight. She isn't a picky eater, snatching up anything that is smaller than her and moves. Rats aren't her favorite food, but they're plentiful and that's all that matters. Barn makes sure to stay out of the Syliran Knights' way as well. She doesn't want to get into trouble with them, which is why she stays in cat form. People can just chase her off and think she's a stray. To fend off the less-pleasant scents of Syliras, she hangs around the perfume shop. Character History Barn was born in Zeltiva to a Kelvic father and a human mother. She was taught to catch mice at six months, and she enjoyed it. They weren't a particularly wealthy family, but they managed to get by with her pelican father working as a fisherman at the docks. Her mother was a traveller, however, and they left for Syliras. Both parents died, one of old age and the other of a broken heart, willingly taking her own life. Barn was then forced to take care of herself, producing an independent girl barely out of her childhood at eight months.
