Physical Description Height: 5'9" Weight: 155 lbs Eyes: Pale blue Hair: His head is shaven, though were he to let his hair grow out it would be a dark black, as is seen in his brows Complexion: Olive skin tone Body Type: He is thin and lanky with tight muscles on the arms and shoulders due to his occasional contributions to his family's masonry business Notable Feature: The index, middle, and ring fingers of his left hand are misshapen and slightly deformed due to a lack of proper treatment after a construction accident when he was a child Further description: He commonly wears kohl around his lids as protection from the sun's piercing rays; this brings out his bright eyes. As for his visage, lacking a fully rounded diet and undergoing the trials of poverty as a youth, he already has creases in his face, hinting at wrinkles; he looks several years older than he actually is. He has a broad forehead; his eyes are plucked into high thin arches; his eyes are somewhat wide-set and his nose, aquiline. He has a drawn almost emaciated look around the cheeks and jaw, giving him sharp and angular features. Overall he is average, not attractive.

Character Concept Tayhura grew up in indigence. His life required scarcity and discipline, but his is the heart of a flippant hedonist, not that a religious Benshira. He has resolved to do whatever it takes to climb the social hierarchy of Anhatep so that he can live the sensuous life he has always wanted. However, his Benshira upbringing quietly whispers in his heart, condemning him for his materialism, and his lack of practice in upper-class society makes him a fumbling and uncouth man in the presence of authority.

Character History Pre-Creation: Tayhura was raised by an assimilated low-class Benshira family of masons who descended from the very Benshiras lured over and enslaved by the Eypharian youths before the Valterrian. Rather than yield to his family's expectations, Tayhura lived a riotous and excessive youth, acting as a messenger boy and servant. He often skipped out on his lessons and even his work, so that his religious grandfather was forced to send him to his brother-in-law at fifteen to learn the trade of the less talented of the family. Yet this did not help. He disappeared for entire days to squander his time in taverns, singing old tavern songs. Some of the tavern owners began to notice his natural talent and hire him for entire evenings. He lived a life of gambling, drinking, and singing contentedly--until he threw himself into debt. To avoid this debt, he ran deep into the heart of the city, in the hope of finding work for nobility-- with a further hope, then, of some how and in some way becoming one of those rich men who were able to enjoy the luxuries of envious wealth without consequence. His purpose then? To become a nouveau riche. Post-Creation: He is currently employed as a gardener for the House of the North Wind.
