Mitti Appearance Race: Human Gender: Female Age: 19 Birthday: 27th day of Winter, 493 AV Birthplace: Kenash, Silverbite Plantation Physical Details: 5'6" and 115-125 pounds depending on how much food her masters bestow her. Mitti's eyes are a deep brown, and her hair is a dirty blonde and tangles easily. She tries to maintain a level of hygene that pleases her masters to the best of her abilities. After all, if it's a maid's job to clean, who wants a filthy maid? Character Concept Mitti's life is all about serving her masters and keeping them happy. As she has never known a life outside of slavery, she does not hate nor love her lot in life. In fact, one might consider her to be satisfied. Mitti is a house slave after all, and she knows firsthand the immense hardships slaves in the fields face. She also knows that the better she is at what she does makes her more valuable, which potentially leads to (marginally) better treatment. It also means that her owners might just be less reluctant to sell her off, but Mitti does not count on that. As a little girl she had fancies of her unknown father being a family member of one of the dynasties and that he would come free her and make her part of his family. Mitti has grown out of said fancy, and underneath her cheerful exterior she is a jaded young woman who scoffs at other slaves who still hold onto such ridiculous dreams. Mitti loves to sing and how good she is, is up to debate by both the other slaves and the Family. Knowing her place, Mitti does not sing while she works if a member of the Family who does not approve is nearby. Character History Being a slave is all Mitti has ever known as she was born into slavery on the Silverbite plantation. She does not know who her father is, and has only vague memories of her mother before Mitti was sold off to the Paille family dynasty at age five. Though the young woman has no love, or even harsh feelings, for her parents she is interested in one thing: learning their names. An added bonus would be learning what they specialized in. Were they both field workers, and Mitti has risen above them both by becoming a house slave? Or were they house slaves themselves, and she is simply following a "family tradition"? Mitti has/had a ragdoll that she believes was given to her as a small child by her mother. She does not know how her mother got the materials, or how she was able to make it. Mitti presumes that it could have been made from the rags of her mother's clothes or makeshift bedding from the slave quarters of the plantation where Mitti was born. Her early years were spent picking the crops of the fields of Stormsgrace and Riverwave plantations. She was 13 when the Paille family sold her off to the Draer family. As she got older, and more comely, Mitti was brought into the home and taught how to scrub and clean. The Morealis family purchased her and serves her new masters happily as a house slave. Over the years, Mitti has gained a hate for the Rujaro. She feels that all the fools have accomplished is making life worse for their brothers and sisters in chains. Without any hesitation, Mitti will tattle to her masters on anyone who dares to talk about the Rujaro. As far as she is concerned, it is her duty to do so. Mitti sees continued life as a slave far superior to that of living as a Rujaro. Food, clothing and housing are all provided for her so long as she earns her keep and life on a plantation is somewhat safer and far more predictable than life out in the forbidden wilds.
