Ezekiel Tabbris Appearance Race: Human Gender: Male Birthday: The fourth day of Winter, 493 A.V. Birthplace: Nyka Appearance: Ezekiel stands at a slightly above average five feet and seven inches. His piercing, grey-green eyes stare out from a prominent brow boasting angular eyebrows. His hair, unlike many of his native Nykan peers, is blonde due to his Sylierian heritage, but that is the only thing about him that might be considered even slightly foreign. From his stance to his voice, Ezekiel is ever the ardent zealot. As far as his physique is concerned, like most monks, Ezekiel takes good care of his body. Unlike many of the others, Ezekiel focuses less upon raw power and more upon lithe, athletic training, thus his muscles are less defined and more wiry. As he is a monk, Ezekiel has forsaken the colorful garb of the common Nykan in exchange for his robes and sandals. Character Concept Ezekiel is a monk. That would be the only explanation he'd feel justified to reply with. An ardent follower of the Celestial Laat, Ezekiel takes no greater pride than serving him. In fact, Ezekiel would do very literally anything for the betterment of his god. His sharp tongue combined with his quick mind make him a dangerous mark for debate, especially in areas of religious context. Character History Born to a superstitious mother and a monk for a father, Ezekiel was saturated from birth in the practices and religion of Nyka. His father was a daring advocate for Laat, so much so he often would get into fights with those from other Quarters over trivial concerns. The typical headstrong monk, Ezekiel's father was more concerned that Ezekiel be schooled in the ways of a true, devoted Nykan than the frivolities of child hood. Thus, Ezekiel spent much of his time at a young age training in and learning the ways of a monk until the very idea of turning from faith became an aberration worse than any mortal crime. Having been gifted (or cursed) with a strong sense of devotion, Ezekiel grew into the man he is today: zealous, short-tempered, self-righteous, and cunning.
