Physical Description:
Ezrai is currently residing in the body of a young girl with long, curling brown hair. She is 5’ 8”, but weighs a mere 102 lbs. Ezrai has deep grey eyes with dark circles beneath them and gaunt, defined cheek bones. Her nose is small and pixy-like. Her figure is slim and looks like empty bones with stretched skin through her clothing. She seems to have a solemn, forever lost look on her face, as if her eyebrows were permanently stuck in a concerned expression. Her eyes themselves seem to look at you with an excited intelligence, as if she were always looking to study you for some sign that you are familiar to her.

Character Concept:
Ezrai is a quiet, reserved individual who tends to hide her face and speak through her teeth, hoping to avoid being recognized for what she is, though this seldom works. When she does speak it is with both wisdom and wit. She loves nothing more than to watch others and listen to beautiful music. Though she never shows it, she is in constant need of contact with others. She enjoys the company of people, particularly families and couples, if for no other reason than to listen to their stories and watch them interact with one another. It is difficult for her to make lasting connections, though, due to the general assumption about what she is. To avoid rejection she travels frequently from place to place, currently residing in Ahnatep.

Character History:
Though she wishes desperately she could remember, her beginnings in this world are blank in her mind. She has no recollection of her family, friends, or early life which began so long ago. She does, however, remember quite clearly one man named Portos. The love they had for each other still haunts her, as well as the fact that she may never know what happened to her lost love. It was hundreds of years ago that the two decided to pay for their souls to become Nuits. In their minds at the time, it was a way to be sure to remain together forever. When the painful process was over, however, Ezrai fell into a deep sleep before she could find out what became of Portos. When she woke up, she was in an unfamiliar place, and Portos was nowhere to be found.
Due to her belief that one day she and her love will be reunited, she continuously searches for new bodies that are of a specific type. She chooses women who are about the age she was when she became a Nuit, about 20, and who possess similar physical features to the ones she had at the time. She believed, and still does sometimes, that by making herself look like she once did, he might be able to recognize her if they ever cross paths again. Part of her knows that Portos may be long dead, but he is the reason that she goes on living. He is also the reason she identifies herself as a female and changes bodies as frequently as possible in order to stay looking alive.
Her past is an empty slate on which only his name is written.
