Appearance: Chari looks like any other Inartan at first glance. She stands proud at 5' 3" and is of a slim build. Russet coloured hair hangs in loose braids past her shoulders. Her eyes however, a liquid brown, are strange for an Inartan. The whites of her eyes are less visible than in ordinary people because her irises are larger than normal. Her eyes have a puppy dog look about them and the reason why becomes very clear when she changes into her animal form. She changes into a beautiful long haired dog with russet coloured fur and liquid brown eyes.

Character Concept:
Chari is a typical Kelvic in terms of her fierce loyalty towards humans. She is as yet unbonded as nobody has accepted her attempts at bonding but she is quick to form friendships. She has a boundless enthusiasm for everything she does and she sometimes finds it difficult to contain herself. She's excitable around people and loves to hug and touch them, even strangers, and has no idea of personal space. 
Chari has no problem with nudity but finds that civilised societies seem to frown upon you wandering around naked so makes an effort to wear clothes most of the time. She's very social and so loves to walk up to random strangers sometimes to start conversations or to see if she can help them in anyway.

Character History:
Chari was born as a result of a liaison between a comely Dek woman and an unknown man. It's uncertain if either had Kelvic blood because Chari knows very little about either of her parents.

Early days


Not long after her birth, Chari was given over to the city nursery. It quickly became apparent that she was different as she began walking within a couple of weeks and began to mimic the words of the Chiet in the nursery soon after. At five weeks of age, developing quickly, Chari changed form for the first time while playing with some of the older children. The Chiet minding her came in to find a puppy running round in circles, chasing its tail. It was only when they tried to catch it and the girl returned to her human form that they realised she was actually a Kelvic.

Yasihood and becoming a Chiet

After a year and a half, it became apparent that Chari could no longer remain in the nursery as she'd reached sexual maturity, developing breasts far earlier than normal. She was moved into the Yasi quarter and quickly excelled in tracking, partly thanks to her animal form. Chari was observed closely by the Chiet as they were wary of her Kelvic abilities and her tendency to chase birds.  

As a Yasi she spent some time trying out various different crafts like glass working, weaving and game scouting. However, not liking the way she was treated by Inartan culture for being a Kelvic, Chari travelled by boat to Lhavit when she was 4 in the hopes of being treated better there.
