HEIKE Race: Human Gender: Male Age: 17 Birthday: Spring 42, 496 AV Birthplace: Denval Current Location: Zeltiva Appearance height: 6'0" build: very slender hair color: blonde eye color: brown other: multiple tattoos and piercings Character Concept Heike is a high spirited person who seems to have an overabundance of energy. He's very bright, and very curious, and this often leads him into trouble. You could say he frequently does not think things through very thoroughly before plunging right into something, feet first. He was raised by hard working parents, who have always frowned upon their son's exuberance, but have somehow managed to both tolerate and survive it. The move from Denval to Zeltiva was traumatic for them but Heike is super happy to be living some place less isolated and far more free - at least until the Coup began at the end of the summer. (end here for now, until more plotting is done) Character History Heike was born in Denval to parents who were merchants, supplying goods to the sailors who came in on the ships from far away places. As a boy, he loved to hear exciting tales of the sailors' adventures, and of people and places far from his isolated home town. When the wild djed storm of 512 eventually forced the evacuation of Denval, Heike was not sad to bid the place good bye, and hop on a ship and head to a new place and a new life. It was something he'd been meaning to do anyway, as soon as he was old enough, though his parents would have hated for him to leave. The ship they were on made port first in Avanthal, and then made the long, long journey around the northern seas and down the coast to Zeltiva. There many of the refugees from Denval settled in a certain part of the city, thus earning it the nickname the Denvali Quarter. Heike settled right in and was quite stoked to be in this new city. That was about a year ago, and during this time his parents enrolled him in a school, so he could prepare to go to the university. He enjoyed studying but also enjoyed getting into trouble and his parents have really grown sick of him, and were quite happy to have him go live in the student housing come the Fall term.
