Known as the Celestial Seat, Nyka is a religious city in Northern Sylira. Ruled by four demigods and traversed by a large crevice, the monk-city is both mystical and dangerous. [Lore]

5th Autumn 513 AV. Woodland outside of Nyka. 8 hours after mid-day. |
Tokie walked under the broken roofing of the foliage around him with a seemingly complacent mind and relaxed footing, his slender form was upright but he walked with a laziness that he felt was safe enough in these parts. His eyes glances from side to side to check out the area around him and he felt as it he was entirely alone.
He sighed with boredom and decided that he would check his surroundings, if not for the sake of security - for the sake of entertaining himself and furthering his morphing skill just a tiny amount.
Summoning up a reasonably small amount of Djed from within himself, Tokie focused the Djed up within the lower half of his face and then focused it upon his jaw bone, he elongated the front of his jaw bone until it formed a rather triangular shape and soon after he stretched the cartilage lining his nose and shaped it into a slanted prism shape, with the skin and muscles following the transformation of the bones and cartilage, Tokie formed the snout of the wolves who's form he had committed to memory.
As the cilia lining the inside of his nose grew in number and length, mucus lining the hairs to protect his new slightly enhanced sense of smell. Lifting his head into the air he hoped to catch any scent drifting in the air. He sniffed at the air tentatively for a little while before noticing a slight smell.
Shifting himself around towards the slight smell, Tokie began to move at an increasing pace along the ground. Taking his legs further apart and aiming to drive his legs down more forcefully and quicker - he broke into a short run. Being quite a lithe framed person, he did not tire himself as much of that as a more muscular or fat-covered man but he was still rather lacking in fitness and tired before he thought he was particularly close to the creature.
Edging forward, plagued with a slight fatigue, Tokie placed his hand upon the trunk of a tree in-front of him and resting on it; he only noticed the robed man some distance in-front of him after a small breathing fit. With a sudden shock he leaned back somewhat to try and obscure his form using the tree. |

Nabi was sat, legs crossed next to a camp fire which smoldered dimly in the twilight surrounding him, illuminating a small portion of his charcoal black form. His eyes where closed tightly, and at this point in time he was hardly aware of anything around him, due to his mind breaching the confined of reality to form a state of nothing, a form of meditating common among voiders to help fully understand the mechanics required to manifest their djed into these gaping abyssal holes. Around him where three tents all with separate bed-rolls though it seemed he was the only individual there, where the others where at this point was unknown but one who knew anything about Nabi and his character could assume that the previous campers where now suffocating within the domain Nabi claims to be his.
A the dog grew closer to Nabi there was no reaction to any sound that may have been made, simply due to his mind embracing a state of dormancy, currently devoid of thought, emotion and empathy which suited Nabi's persona well, him being a bit of a sociopath and all.
Suddenly, Nabi stood up, awaking from his dormant state, his eyes opening to reveal amber iris' which reflected the light of the dying flame in front of him. In a wave of darkened cloth, the man strode towards the west of the camp, and stopped after about five or so meters of walking.
He looked up for a moment, and let out a deep breath, a gust of wind escaping his lungs. With this he started to sing, a strange monk like chant, which some how added an eerie feel to the atmosphere, for these words he spoke, these incantations where not of any language in Mizahar or the universe around it, no, these where words spewed from the chaotic twisting nether that Nabi's mind was and sounded inhuman, unnatural and over all sinister. "Ash nazg durbatulûk, ash nazg gimbatul, ash nazg thrakatulûk agh burzum-ishi krimpatul." these where the words spoken and endlessly, they where repeated a drone of dark, twisted intent that could bring unease to even the most tolerant of men. |

Tokie watched the man rise from his sitting position and walk to the right of the little encampment he was in. He began chanting in some dark-sounding language that made Tokie twist his head in thought for a moment.
Casting his eyes to the empty tents around the fire, they were too many for this one man and he did not seem like the type of person to go camping with friends: as such; Tokie deducted that the man probably robbed the encampment or removed the people that were here before him, the fact that there was no scent of blood, sign of struggle or dead bodies anywhere caused further interest inside Tokie towards the man.
With a dulled cracking nose, the Djed propping up the snout of Tokie's face into that of a wolf's faded and his skin and bones began to shrink and widen back into a human frame. The frame filled itself with human flesh and skin that resembled Tokie's original form almost exactly.
Thought Tokie did this for ease of speech, he was still wary of the man and as such gathered his Djed in his upper torso, arms, the base of his spine and legs, he allowed it to spread through and take a hold of his bones, flesh and muscles. Pushing the Djed within his body, his skin began to shudder under the manipulation bequeathing it and bones shattered and moved underneath his skin. His legs bowed slightly at the shin to give him the increased ability of forward trajectory. A light coat of furr formed over the manipulate ares of his body and corded canine muscle sprouted up beneath his arms and chest to provide him with power, his nails blackened and sharpened, curving at the tips and growing at an alarmed rate until they formed claws. His final transformation was to elongate his spine from the coxis downwards and fill it with flesh, he added weight behind him to balance out this increase of muscle mass on his arms and chest, wolfish fur grew from the hair follicles of his tail, partially from habit since his knowledge of a wolf's form demanded it and partially because he did not like how a bare tail looked.
With the transformation complete, Tokie looked over to the man with a wariness and spoke up with a steady voice "Who are you?". |

Though he heard the inquisition of the lycanthrope-like creature, though did not respond, nae did his actions change, he just stood there absent-minded and tranquil muttering these dark incantations again and again and again for about a minute longer, though it felt like hours.
He stopped, eventually and arched his head around to reveal his shadowed visage, a snake like sigh leaving his pursed lips. "I am the prophet of the abyss, the sentinel of void and the emissary of darkness." he said, coldly, not explaining anything more about himself. He reluctantly turned to face this strange pedigree and looked passed his blackened hood towards it. Suddenly a loud warping sound was heard, followed by a crunch as one of the larger tents literally started to crumble, as if sinking into the ground. Within a matter of seconds, the tent was completely engulfed, along with anything inside it and was replaced by the pale grass that was originally under it.
Nabi did not phase as the tent was sucked into nothing and simply stood there, knowing that during his incantations the djed formed from his original meditation formed into a twisting portal to the abyss, which coiled and grasped the flax tent and wood, causing it's ultimate descent.
After a moment of silence, Nabi started to chuckle, a smirk bemusing his face, clearly showing off his amusement. He was trying to psyche this creature before him out, and impress him, though the original reason for removing these tents was for simple practice of his power. |

As the strange black-clad man seemed to ignore him for a while, Tokie lifted his right hand in-front of his face with tauntingly obvious obliviousness and gazed at his newly formed nail - and weapons of choice - with a criticizing eye. He reached across his own chest to rest the palm of his hand on the trunk of the tree and set his claw-tips to the bark.
Drawing his fingers inwards with a slight force pushing down upon the tree, Tokie's nails cut into the bark and began to roll up the membranous material as it met the force of his fingertips. Removing the clenched hand from the tree-trunk, he relaxed his hand and let the 4 tree shavings drop to the ground limply.
As he heard the sound of the Djed forming into a vacuum-like pool of matter, Tokie glanced over at the swirling purple puddle-like thing with both understanding and increased wariness, for he now knew that this man was most likely a capable voider just as he was a capable morpher. Watching the tent crumple up and then fall into the purple void of space, Tokie glanced back to the man who was chuckling to himself with a smirk. "Fancy" he said with a voice wearing the mask of amusement and playfulness.
"So you're a voider" Tokie put forward as both a statement and a question, bringing the topic back around to his latter question. He repeated this question again "Who are you?" he said it with a less calm tone, but the slight taint of his voice did not yet betray any of his thought or feelings, it was polite and measured. |
