62nd of Fall, 513 AV
The Avora was anxious, like always. Her previous experience in the Inclement Weather hadn't been exactly enjoyable, but she supposed it was her own fault. After all, it was her who drank too much. Now, as she was making her way through the Inner Warrens, she kept swearing she would not make the same mistake again. Maybe a drink or two, but no more than that.
Syveris was looking forward to the night, to just clear her head and not think about the things Wind Reach was going through. She knew they were important and not supposed to be ignored, but right now she only wanted to relax.
When Syveris reached the entrance, she took a deep breath, trying to calm herself. The Avora wanted to step in the place with a calm mind, wanted to only enjoy herself, with no worries. And she was sure she wouldn't achieve that if she got in already trying to guess how the night would be. So the Avora stayed a while on the entrance, watching the people go inside, laughing and talking. Finally, when she had calmed herself enough, Syveris smoothed her white bryda. She was wearing the clothes that Azira had chosen for her, and they were quite comfortable. The white vinati was tied around her neck, and she had to admit the golden patterns were pretty, although she still wasn't so sure they fitted her.
With a last deep breath, Syveris entered the room. The ambiance transmitted the same feelings to her as she entered there the last time - a place for fun and absolutely no worries. The room glowed with the lights, and a lively music came from the musicians' alcoves. In the center, shadowed from the lights, were the dancing floor. Syveris hadn't even approached it last time, but now, it was there she had to go, and away from the bars.
She approached the dancing space, unsure she wanted to go in. The Avora wasn't one for dancing, and she seldom did so, although she enjoyed it when she did. Her eyes met with another girl's, who seemed to be dancing with a male friend, judging by the way their bodies were kept separated enough for them not to be flirting, but close enough so it looked like they were dancing together. The girl laughed out loud, and Syveris noticed she was clearly drunk. She waved her hand, calling the Avora. Syveris smiled, amused, and joined them.
"What's the fun in looking?' the girl spoke, her voice loud. "Just dance!" with another amused smile at the girl's sloppy voice, Syveris nodded in acknowledgment to the boy, and started to shake her hips accompanying the rhythm of the song, her arms going up slowly. "See?" the girl laughed, and threw her arms around the boy's neck. "Much more fun."
Syveris couldn't deny that. Ignoring the now hugging Inartans, she closed her eyes, smiling and listening to the song. She kept shaking her hips, passing both of her hands on her hair and down her neck. She bent her knees, moving her hips just a little slower, but more sharply. She smiled, her mind on the music, her body moving on its own. Relaxing.
