The ringing of a chain drew both of the monk's attention a long with Raven's as they turned to look at the source which seemed to becoming from the handsome monk's robes and soon enough his weapon came into view, the gleam of the pointed blade instantly drawing a gasp from the onlookers and combatants alike. Raven noticed as the monk she had been 'fighting' took a cautionary step back and noted a worried look on the other one's face, clearly they were re-thinking their idea to start a fight.

If the sight of the monk's blade had worried them, then the loud whirling sound of the counterweight as it spun through the air definitely had them re-assessing their determination to continue the tussle, especially now that serious injury or death had become far more likely than they'd originally thought it would be. Raven watched as the monk's rejoined forces standing side by side and exchanging a worried expression before continuing to watch the young monk and his unusual weapon. "Fine, count yourself lucky this time." they spat before turning and angrily pushing through the crowd as they walked away.

The moment the thuggish monks had disappeared from sight, Raven let out a large sigh of relief, visibly relaxing as she realised the danger had been evaded, for the time being at least. It was at this moment that she felt the many aches and pains she'd endured from her little rooftop chase, her muscles felt stiff and she was sure she'd be bruised and walking with a minor limp for a few days, but at least she was alive.

The young woman straightened up as she re-attached her whip to it's place at her hip while the handsome young monk put away his weapon and turned to face her. "Seems like they decided they didn't want to be mourned on The Bridge of The Dead just yet." she said through a pained wince, still trying to sound confident as her smirk attempted to remain on her face. Slowly she turned on her heel and began walking off of the bridge in the opposite direction that she'd come from, turning around one last time to cast an amber glance at her savior, "Thanks handsome...Till next time." she said with a teasing wink before disappearing amongst the dispersing crowd.

An exciting little thread. Some of the posts were a little short but it still had the makings of being a great fight. Shame it ended.
