History: The young girl lived with a family, a pack of wolves. The family lived in the mountains; they had an enemy against the tigers. For years a war between the two families, both sides had lost many people. The young girl Selene at the time was the next in line to take the family’s legacy, to be alpha of the pack. But the war had taken a sharp turn to the tiger’s side.
It was a dark night when Selene had decided to take a small walk of the perimeters of the wolf territory. She released her wolf form and her human form seems to grow. Her black hair with silver streak fell loosely down her back. Her Sapphire eyes grazed across the small river she had stopped by, she couldn’t help but feel that something was wrong. Something that was out of her abilities, something that she didn’t know about, what was it.
She looked up at the night sky lost deep in though. She had not heard the slightest movement or the disturbance of the night sky.
That in itself disturbed her and she turned to look back the way she had come. She realised that the night sky was beginning to paint red within it and a growl erupted from her throat. So they had come onto the wolf territory and just before she could move step forward a reddish brown body crossed her vision and pain seem to course through her body.
The wolf burst from the human body and staggered slightly before her fighting abilities kicked it and she turned to face the tiger that dared attack her. Except the animal before her was not that of a tiger but a wolf. It was Higar, a male wolf that she had grown up with.
‘How dare you Higar! Betray us like this,’ she growled as she took a couple of steps forward, her hackles were up, her sapphire eyes accusing, her drawn blood matting her black and silver fur.
‘I wanted better then this and I’m sick of this stupid war I want it to end,’ he answered and his muscles bunched up.
She recognised this as a move that he was going to strike again, so she moved first.
Selene rocked back onto her haunches and launched herself forward, her jaw open, she was faster then Higar and she knew it so she used this to her advantage.
Her jaws closed around the other wolf’s throat and she reaped her head to the side causing his neck to snap and her wound now around to throat to rip open more, letting more blood flow freely.
She opened her jaws the dead wolf falling to the ground and she looked back to where the fire’s smoke painted the sky.
Slowly she began tom move towards the ruined area, smoke filling her nose and her eyes watered, her gaze sweeping the area.
Everywhere dead bodies of wolves were everywhere, charred and some that had tried to escape were torn to pieces.
Her head lifted and a howl erupted from her maw as she cried for her pack, swearing to herself that whatever decision she made now she would not let anyone into her life, nor trust no one. Everyone was now her enemy.
