89 Fall 513
The air was losing any last vestiges of warmth, the bloom of summer having all but faded, and autumn being on the verge of disappearing. Unlike the desert dwellers, or the nomadic Drykas who try to stay ahead of winter, Riverfall was at the mercy of the biting chill that came with Winter. The inhabitants slowly moving from wearing light cool clothing, to wearing heavy sturdy clothing to ward off the winter cold.
In the park this evening was a male who wore leathers that were creased with age, creaked with every movement, but blocked the wind from his ...dark green flesh. His height was massive compared to humans but was small for his own kind, topping out at six foot five inches. However his girth more then made up for it, massive muscle upon muscle that was carefully cultivated with training.
His hair was so dark that it almost could not be discerned from the dark hue of his skin, and tightly woven into a braid to lay flat against his head. Though everything about Favchean screamed disciplined and controlled, he moved through the park with an ease that spoke of someone with a comfort with his surroundings. Pale blue eyes turn to survey the surrounding trees, still clinging to the last few stages of fall, stubbornly holding out against winter.
He was not thinking much about anything this evening, having finished his Kata practice and having left the heat of the forge behind. Instead he allowed his mind to wander, to think of his mother and her joyous news that there was an impending stranger due to make its infant appearance next year. For some species it might be odd having a baby brother -or sister for his mother was Konti- when one was forty three years of age but for an Akalak with an Akalak's life span that was normal.
