Coal nodded at Shayna seeing as she was cleaning the porch, his lips creaking upwards slightly at her little joke. He did not know this Iora, but he was used to slaves insulting one another for one reason or another. "Thank you for helping me clean off, I hope your mistress thinks you clean enough to work in the shop one day." It was as much of a compliment as Coal knew how to give, his shoulders rolling thoughtfully as he held the package close to his chest. He had to go and start off again or it wouldn't be until night fall that he returned with the goods, surely nothing good would come of that.
Coal took a step forward, paused then turned back toward Shayna. "It was nice meeting you." He didn't want to offer up the chances of meeting again, slave's lives were ever changing and it would be a strange thing for the worker to be sent back into town for this specific purpose, but perhaps...perhaps.
The Isur turned away and began his steady pace back through the streets of Kenash, bright dark eyes taking in the commotion and clutter of people before his gaze fell ground ward once more and the slow dusty trek back to Whiplash commenced. Perhaps one day...
OOCThanks for the fun thread!
